  • The thematic of liberation in Wano is as extra-personal as it is personnal for Luffy. After all, he went from imprisoned to liberated on a molecular level
I love crying. It's one of the best way to feel alive. Sadness, joy, wonder, all the above. It's not always happy, but it is always recentering. Please, don't forget to cry.

You're acting like crying is button decision you can press at will
If you're actually centered and grounded you cry when something moves you or you lose someone or something valuable (subjective) etc
    Be centered first, cryyyyyyyyy later

Funny thing : The more centered I become, the more I cry and the more centered I become. It's a healthy and continuous cycle. When I was young and very much not centered, I couldn't cry as much. But now, I have much more room for empathy and I can allow myself to cry big time as I refuse to have any barrier behind what I can feel and what I can empathize with,... so I'm moved... a lot. And it's amazing.
There is a chance for the beef between Sanji and Zoro to fade away before the end.. Each reflects the other. I think one can't stand seeing his pal jumping to death for grief while the other can't stand to see his pal jumping to death for love
Fun fact: To this day, Zoro still hasn't lost

I think in Zoro's mind, the loss he was talking about were related to the fact of losing his pride and honor more than losing in itself. Zoro do not really see being collectively defeated as a problem of pride (in the case of Kuma for ex) when he knows he can't really do much, the problem comes when he takes a person in a duel thinking that he has a chance like he did with Mihawk.

What Zoro basically said is that he would never do the mistake of throwing his life away without a big reason. (another reason why he never admitted that he took Luffy's pain)
Who do you this is worse, Snyderbros or Oda haters?

Because One Piece being a battle shonen, there is the potential for people to stop reading character's emotions

Daaamn, im cooked, since I love One Piece and think Snyderverse's MoS, and BvS ultimate edition were just far better movies than anything Gunn has cooked up so far. Tuff.

@Xione Don't worry, loving One Piece is something you are doing better than most people on this forum, you're good.
So it seems like what is happening with One Piece is also happening with DC. A media literacy crisis. But I think the rise of fascism as a lot to do with it

What I said is that there was a conservative element within the critic. This is what you do not understand. But again, it's a problem of perspective. You have the narrow vision of certain concepts, you do not see their real materialities, as such, like many, you think that it is inadequate to talk about conservatism in a context that seems - for you - to be independant from the problem

And one day if you are smart... you will wake up in the middle of a conservative group, not understanding what went wrong and why everyone is suddenly being racist or sexist or whatever. This is what a shift of perspective is.

Wisdom requires a constant effort on itself to remain ethical. A person that considers they don't have anything to learn is a person that is already lost to the dark. In fandoms, this is the equivalent of never questionning the behavior of your fellow fan and following them day after day as they slide invisibly on a ramp of reactance and conservatism.
A part of me felt the same mysticism in Imu that I felt with Carrot's Sulong. I wonder if Oda consciousely tapped beyond his own style in these occurences.

I think it's the hair mostly. The ways he draws Sulong's Luffy's and Imu's hair is very magical and smoky like. Very similar to how old drawings represents deities.
