You said you put Roger above Mihawk only because you believe his physical stats are higher. But Mihawk himself should be a physical monster too, given he is a power-based swordsman, with us seeing Zoro honing his physical strength as well with weights. So even if Roger's physical stats are somehow superior to Mihawk's, how can it make up for Mihawk's superior swordsmanship, stronger blade and presumably stronger CoA?
Given Ray has CoC, Oda actually has to do Zoro justice and give it to him too. But the possibility isn't high that he will. Those who are displayed having CoC, activate it in young age when still inexperienced.
