The story points to Zoro going back to Kaido.
The only way for Zoro vs King to make sense is to have Marco get defeated (so Zoro fights a weakened King), or for Marco to randomly hand off King to Zoro, and for Zoro to fight King instead of the one guy he wants to kill on the island. Neither...
Yeah, that was my favorite part. Zoro’s indignation at the Beast Pirates being wasteful when the poor residents of Ebisu giving him some of the little they have
:amazing:
Speaking of delusional, remember when Zoro fans were called delusional for saying Zoro would beat King and scar Kaido in one arc? :yasu:
But on a more serious note, what does Zoro vs King add for Zoro? He can already cut fire, he can already do flying slashes, he's shown to have the ability to...
Well, Oda can always delay Zoro's 1v1 with a Commander swordsman until they fight Blackbeard, since Shiryu is still Zoro's most likely opponent from BB's crew.
If Zoro was gonna fight King in this arc, Oda easily could've at least set something small up to suggest that after Zoro got done on...
I'm honestly a little bummed that Zoro still calls Law "Torao" or whatever. Law went from calling him "Roronoa-ya" to "Zoro-ya" after last chapter. And Zoro calls Killer and Kidd by their names...but Law still gets a nickname? That's a little weird.
Yep. Luffy, Zoro, and Robin were the only ones not surprised by Luffy being related to Dragon. I wonder if Zoro knows who Dragon is and doesn't care, or he stopped by Shimotsuki Village more than once and actually knew him? :zorothink:
This is before Zoro helps out with the rest of the Oars fight, then fights Kuma, then of course, "Nothing Happens".
Spitting blood isn't a good indication of almost being out.
I dunno man, Marco is giving off mad Kyros/Wiper vibes to me. Strong ally, past beef with the main villains of the arc, he's already fighting King while Sanji and Queen have the hanging Judge plot hook.
