Luffy gets instantly deleted if he tries to block Hakai. Zoro told him and the other Supernova to run away:

Zoro did not think the rest of the 4 Supernova combined could block Hakai.

The Yonkou were shocked out of their mind that Hakai was stopped:

The Yonkou did not think it was possible for even the 5 Supernova working together to block Hakai.

Neither Zoro nor the Rocks Duo thought the 4 Supernova combined could block Hakai. Thus, Luffy + Kidd + Killer + Law get wiped out by Hakai.

Luffy alone gets instantly deleted.

Zoro choosing to block the attack on his own to help the rest get away in the last second doesn't imply that his defensive prowess is above the other 4 Supernovas combined, or that his defensive prowess is clearly by leaps and bounds above his Captain for example.

Kid, Killer and Law probably get insta wiped out on their own, but I think Luffy would be able to hold the attack for at least as much as Zoro if he used Tankman + Advanced CoA, and were to put everything he has into defending.

Big Mom and Kaido being surprised by their attack being momentarily stopped by Zoro, if anything, implies that they underestimated the Worst Generation (and the power of plot too).

Zoro thought that the five of them (including himself) wouldn't be capable of stopping Hakai even if they worked together, so he decided to work as bait to gain time for Law to do his thing and don't put the rest into danger.

He has been training to master a level of armament more advanced than the one that allowed the admirals to stop Whitebeard's earthquake comfortably. While obviously not the same situation, he'd possibly be able to step in and stop it for a brief moment while ending half dead in the process.

He can probably stop it with the Tank Man belly
The attack is larger than his belly

And how would that work?

Do you mean Barrier haki? How would that work with Tankman?

About Barto Oda stated in an SBS that it wouldn’t be a very good barrier if it could be broken, so that's unlikely funnily.

Wonder if Barto can increase its efficiency by adding barrier haki too since that's in general what should occur, by adding up basic defence over DF defence. Unless Oda sets a limitation since he is using his hands.
