I honestly don't know how to feel about this. On one hand, Luffy's new form looks dope but in another I kindda don't like that he doesn't has the Gomu Gomu but instead some top tier legendary fruit.
Definitely Zoro. Even if he is heavily wanked on this site, I must admit he was extremely impressive on the rooftop, like when he deflected the combined attack of two Yonkos and scarring Kaido. Sanji was also impressive, but not on the same level as Zoro.
I think he did ok, wasn't expecting that much from him anyways but I really liked his whole thing of being a Lunarian and the existence of a race that can create and manipulate fire, contrasting with the Minks who can create electricity. It seems the reason you felt disappointed with him is cuz...
Smoker for sure. My man went from being a menace to the straw hats early on the show to be a literal mop to anyone he confronted. I was expecting a lot from him in PH, but he fell so flat it wasn't even funny. People expected him to be the next Garp, but from the looks of it that ain't...
Wait I don't get, is the Shark on land or still in the water? Would the tiger on the beach look something like this, where it's capable of walking in the waters giving the shark the ability to attack the tiger if he (the shark) really is in the sea?
G2 was the best one cuz it introduced the possibilities of transformations into the series, which is something always hyped up in shouen mangas. My second choice would be G4 Boundman because it was one which was always hyped since the start of the timeskip.
That's hot. I was already saying that Ifrit Jambe is a lame power up but if it has blue flames then I might reconsider my claim, especially if it gets really well animated in the anime.
Why is Akainu here? Molten rock =/= fire. Anyways, Marco is the best one imo, there's something unique about fire that heals instead of burning and destroying. My second option is Sanji cuz blue fire is cool.
Also, shouldn't Zoro be here too? He can use blue flames as well :zosleepy:
It still ruined Naruto's themes though. The whole "Hardwork can surpass natural talent" theme was destroyed when Naruto was gifted a living nuke, was the reincarnation of the son of god, and gained the powers from said god. Shit like that makes you think "how is hardwork supposed to beat that?"...
I say this because both Law and Momo described Luffy losing (or getting Ko'ed) as his voice "disappearing". So it means that either:
- Momo has Observation Haki
- Law has VOAT
- Observation Haki and VOAT are somehow related
Honestly, if Luffy ends up being the reincarnation of JoyBoy it won't nearly as bad as the whole thing of Naruto being the child of prophecy and the reincarnation of Asura. The reason people hated that was because it ruined one of Naruto's core themes. Luffy being the reincarnation of so legend...
