Oh, absolutely not. While Teach would probably be fine with it, there is NO chance of Luffy ever willingly working alongside him. Especially if Garp gets sold to the Cross Guild and/or he kills Shanks.
And also, Final Villain literally means the absolute last obstacle, whether how big of a...
"Biggest Threat" and "Final Villain" are not the same thing.
Yes, Imu has a lot of underlings compared to any Emperor; Teach or Kaido or Big Mom,
But you don't need that many when Luffy and his coalition can do the hard work for Teach.
I wouldn't really bother arguing with this guy in any good faith as he obviously refuses to listen to anyone, so I'll just post this for everyone else.
Shanks went to Wano because he was worried Teach was going to ambush the winner of Luffy VS Kaido, which shows even in story, people know he's...
All things said, Luffy absolutely is going to defeat Imu. That doesn't mean Teach won't wait for them to tire out and make his move, and then finish Imu off, but Luffy is definitely getting a rematch later on, at Mariejois.
I am intrigued where the Cross Guild is going. I feel Buggy and Mihawk would resent Blackbeard for killing Shanks, and I feel like Crocodile already does for killing Whitebeard, so I don't really think they'd want to associate with him too much.
I guess I have to say when it's time, they're...
Yeah, on that note, I'm quite firm in my belief there aren't going to be any fights on Laugh Tale...for the Straw Hats.
First, it's not like when they find the 4th Road Poneglyph, Shanks and Teach's den dens are going to alert them of it. So, for all we know, it could only have the peril of...
Even if Imu sucks ass, at least he wasn't introduced literally three chapters before the end of the series.
Like, even Necrom from Final Fantasy IX was better implemented.
The point is, Imu's whole thing has been secrecy and deceit. He is the secret World-King as he rules by his proxies while he hides in the shadows and he tricks and enslaves the minds and souls, like with Harald and Gunko.
So, imagine if in the finale of Return to the Jedi, when Luke challenged...
Is he lifting weights and sparring with the Gorosei in the Butterfly Room?
Just because you were strong once in your life doesn't mean you stay strong if you're not actively keeping fit.
I have to partially disagree. While her being captured *eventually* is a possibility, I feel she also has a role in organizing Luffy's side for him, as in the kingdoms who defect from the World Government in opposition to Imu.
She certainly would be a big help in getting this alliance...
Personally, I feel like Vivi won't be captured, and in fact, may play a part in his downfall.
After all, she is currently the guest of the biggest media mogul in the OP world. And a exclusive interview with her and Wapol exposing Imu's existence would be *very* Big News indeed.
But consider this: While things didn't fully go as planned, he still has a net gain from the two instances you mentioned.
Is Imu going to get anything out of Elbaf like he was planning on?
One thing about Imu and Teach I should note is, Imu is a reactionary villain and Teach is a proactionary villain. When Luffy set out from Foosha, Imu won 800 years ago and is comfortably the World King where Teach was still a no-name member of Whitebeard's crew.
However, now we're at a point...
