Indeed, now imagine the same braindead character who clearly isn't intended to let go of that impersonation quirk for the next 200 chapters while the rest of the crew is already short on meaningful Post TS panel time , yikes.
Yamato not joining, while sloppily executed is still a net positive for me since she is thankfully not going to join the crew.
It's the lesser of 2 evils
Meh, either way this film is easily going to blow past the previous ones by a huge ass margin.
The production quality seems inferior to Stampede, so yeah toei and all the stakeholders will be earning a shitload of return revenue from this one
I think it's pretty difficult for the next chapter to miss, you get the vibe of us cutting away to something else with those end of chapter narrations.
Now this could be to something as simple as Zunisha ,those WG ships and whatever's going on with these eruptions or maybe something crazier...
As underwhelming as some of the previous chapters have seemed.
I would be lying if I didn't say this chapter felt really heartwarming when read in isolation.
It got the emotional beats on point
Not really lol, I'm not being as stubborn as him.
I'm open to both the possibilities and just saying to not count out the option of the borders somehow opening at the end of this arc itself
I would think that with this entire thing of Nika being the "sun god" (and Wano the place where its legend resurfaces after centuries) and all the other shitton of dawn references leading up to the conclusion of this raid (and the fact that the raid was at night), it'd feel bizarre for it to be...
By 2.), I mean the scene where we are going to see the sun rise over Wano after a few hours from now (and the volcanic plumes getting cleared from the sky).
Scenes especially like the sky clearing up/break of dawn are associated alongside some significant conclusive event in the arc
If we are...
Valid points. But how would you answer these questions-
1) Why was a creature of Zunisha's size sentnced to roam the seas for centuries only to reach Wano today of all days?
2) With Kaido and BM being presumed as defeated now, what thematic purpose would the dawn breaking on Wano serve now? If...
We aren't going into relax mode yet because of all the "open wano" business, those WG ships and Zunisha's potential involvement in all of this.
But there should be no more fighting left against Kaido or BM
