People don't realise how huge and revolutionary this is
and this is what it was capable of a couple of years ago and the exponential rate at which it's getting more advanced by the day.
It's through extremely unfortunate incidents like these that we are ultimately reminded of the fact that beyond all the petty and trivial discussions, always remember to be kind and respectful to the other person at the end of it all. It will not hurt the edgy/stoic internet persona you are...
This is unbelievably sad, one of those cases which will certainly linger on my (and our) minds for a long long while.
Not only was Kiri such an intelligent poster and someone who articulated her thoughts really well, but above all, really kind and courteous during all the conversations I've...
This is where we can all agree upon, regardless of the fact that there were signs/doubts of her joining the crew, the sudden refusal was dumb.
All the dramatic pieces are there to have Yamato experience doubts, reflections, reassess her perspective, change her mind but they are never...
? I'm not defending the writing, I called that out already
The thread of discussion was about new members having interactions with the crew, how exactly was Brook an anomaly?
Yeah, but Robin had the benefit of being introduced pretty early in the series and someone who seemed to be shrouded in mystery. Both of those things unfortunately don't go in Yamato's favor
I get the sentiment, if Oda actually intended for her to be an arc specific character at the end of the day then there was not much reason to flesh her out to the extent that he did.
But again contextually, a lot of her story was kept restricted to the arc specific cast and not the SH's, it...
The bait and switch was bad sure, but the handful of her panels intending to go out felt pretty half assed in comparison to how personal and emphatic some of the moments of the previous SH's were with Luffy especially.
She did fight Kaido I guess, but I'm just puzzled by the "400+ panel"...
I fail to see how 90% of panel time dedicated to babysitting Momo and the bomb diffusion side quest would all of a sudden be seen in some "useful" panel time if Yamato joined the crew?
Ah, character development in the midst of the 100 other much more relevant things to resolve during the finale (this was a huge success during Onigashima btw!) and hogging meaningful panel time from rest of the crew, which has already been lacking for most of Post TS.
