Most of them just haven’t gotten a lot of characterization yet.
I’d say Saturn feels pretty distinct from the others since he’s the one who’s gotten the most focus. But depending on how much Oda plans to do with the others they might get comparable amounts of characterization.
To me, I think it's moreso that Kuzan doesn't want to stand for justice anymore.
He's become disillusioned with being this supposed pillar of virtue and righteousness that in reality upholds a horrid regime.
Kuzan's just burnt out on all that BS. He sees Teach as a guy who's gonna change the...
Teach is probably the final villain cause the main theme of this manga is ambition.
Imu and the Gorosei have been resting on their laurels for the past 900 years thinking they're hot shit and can't ever be beaten. They're in for a wakeup call real soon.
The future belongs to the upstarts like...
Nusjuro - Trying (and failing) to kill Bonney
Saturn - Failed to kill Robin. And also he deadass caused this entire mess by killing Vegapunk
Ju Peter - Being completely fucking useless.
Mars - Unable to find a snail.
Topman - Fighting a Yonko 1v3, and winning.
Never put the rest of these...
Yeah same.
I think part of why I found her interesting early on was how big of a part guilt played in her character. But it feels like that whole aspect of her character was kinda dropped.
Oda's honestly been killing off a lot more characters recently
In Wano we had Orochi, Kanjuro, Doji, Yasuie, Absalom, and Izo
In Egghead we had Cobra, Vegapunk, T-Bone, Mjosgard, Shaka, Pythagoras, and Kuma (I personally think his death is going to stick).
This is a broadcast that he prepared as a failsafe for when the World Government tries to silence him.
There's no way it isn't something the WG doesn't want getting out.
Lol had to go on an errand for a bit sorry about taking a while
The thing is though that right now the only thing that really sets Saturn apart from the other Gorosei is his involvement in Kuma's and Bonney's lives. If you take him outside of the context of Egghead, he pretty much fulfills the...
Saturn instantly recovered from that.
Persopero got beaten by Nekomamushi 1 arc later, and what Saturn did was several magnitudes worse than anything Perospero did

Eh, I feel like saying they’ve been sidelined is sort of a stretch. It’s only been a handful of chapters
Problem is that if Saturn doesn’t die this arc that’d just be denying the audience catharsis because you’re clearly meant to hate Saturn. And that isn’t really how Oda tends to write.

It’s not really the same thing though.
This would be like if Akainu was the one who gave Roger his...
But what if she strolls into a Marine base?
I imagine the Gorosei aren’t gonna advertise Saturn’s death because it would undermine the WG’s image of “gods” that they want to preserve
Also imo this arc made it really clear that BB is the final boss. The WG is like 1 broadcast away from having...
I mean,
Doffy wasn’t the one who killed scarlet lmao
and it’s not like Saturn can go to prison, so yeah I think he needs to die
Nah it kinda is
They’ve gone out of their way to make it clear that Saturn is irredeemable and it doesn’t make sense for the arc to end with him getting let off the hook
