Kaido just wants to go out in a blaze of glory. I wouldn't say he's suicidal, but does seem to share Doflamingo's chaotic methods. Basically if Kaido can't find satisfaction in life, the he's just going to pull everything down with a massive war.

I would rather it be a new character. I don't think Gin would betray Don Krieg and join Kaido. Unless Krieg himself joined the Beast Pirates, but he doesn't seem the type to be subservient to Kaido. That said I would like to see what happened to the Don Krieg pirates someday.

I think Kinemon is still the leader. Law is more a battle strategist at this point, but the scabbards rally around and admire Kinemon more.

I consider Law to be the better candidate for nakama right now. I've even been looking for a character to counter to his potential, and the closest I've got is Kinemon. Luffy is my absolute favorite Strawhat no doubt. After him are Nami, Usopp, and Sanji. Third tier favorites are Robin, Brook, Zoro, Jinbe, and Franky. Chopper is my least favorite of the group. I also love Vivi and Law and consider them the honorary Strawhats.

Is it bad that I want Kaido's son to be some basement dwelling nerd who's totally into board games and the like? That would be something new to say the least. The complete opposite of his father, lol.

Sanji doesn't like Momo very much due to all the attention Nami gives the kid. So of course Sanji would rescue her instead, lol. In reality, Oda has the plot set up to rescue Momo in the future and needed a distraction to stop Sanji.
