Pretty much only Law could get Momo back since he can insta-switch objects. Otherwise Kanjuro could take Momo's life pretty easily, and even if they save the kid, Kanjuro could take his own life. So far it looks like a lose-lose scenario unless they can subdue Kanjuro somehow.
Monster trio for sure! Luffy, Sanji and Zoro make for a great tag team. The Supernova trio is next due to the 3 conflicting personalities being a good source of entertainment. Never cared for the ASL trio, but Ace is gone now so there's not much development for it outside of flashbacks anyway.
Well I think Kinemon might be out for me. I thought he had a chance. However, him and the other scabbards are carrying on Oden's dream of opening Wano. I think between protecting Momo and Wano that Kinemon will stay behind. Plus, he really has no reason go to Laughtale at this point or at least...
Cool, Barto looks at lot of fun to play as. I laughed when he made his barrier into a baseball bat and then a paddle. Funny stuff! I'm glad were getting some new characters to try out. This games looking pretty good so far, imo.
Great chapter!
Kanjuro is definitely psychotic, and his reveal while low key was pretty chilling to be honest. Orochi found quite the ally. I wonder if there is any chance of redemption for him? Or is he too far gone now?
On the flip side, Kyoshiro is one of the biggest allies now, and...
World Government teaming up with Dragon and the Revolutionaries seems the most unlikely to me. They are just too opposed to each other, and it would take a series crisis for that to happen.
Back to back multi-chapter flashbacks, let's go! :owo:
Just kidding... going back to the SH's can be done in the present or as a couple of panels if there is a flashback for them.
We'll probably go back to Kinemon and company in the present since the flashback started with them. I would like to see what happened to the Strawhats during this time as well.
I kind of think the barrier guy probably died of old age. He didn't appear at the battle as far as I am aware. The old lady brought on her own demise, but the barrier man was never shown to cause trouble. Plus he was really useful to Orochi.
*Sigh* Do we really need ecchi in OPM. :namiriously:
I mean it's a super hero comic so chiseled muscles, huge busts, catsuits and bikinis are standard stuff, but there's a line I rather Murata not cross, lol. He can always make an ecchi manga later.
Other than that it was a good chapter. I...
Well the dude did make lot of people extremely miserable in the past 20 years. I wouldn't be surprised if half of the populace of Wano wanted his head at this point. Denjiro might actually be the one planning to take it though.
Read the official version, and the Denjiro part was a bit more clear for me. Basically he was so mad, he contorted his face in the process of venting said anger. It would be great if he was the one who defeated Orochi in the end. :blobevil:
Decent chapter, it feels somewhat rushed pacing-wise, but Oda's probably trying to get back to the main story now. I just wish we had more pages of Oden with his family and retainers. I like the relationships between those guys. It's also interesting to see how Oden's death affected everyone...
Doflamingo is better in my humble opinion. I never cared that much for Crocodile, although I don't like Mingo either because he was just too good at being a hate-able villain. It comes down to nuance and characterization. Oda gave the audience more insight into how Doffy's motivations and how...
Honest opinion, one of the worst gags in One Piece, and unfortunately, Sanji is no longer my favorite character because of it. Shame because the joke wasn't that awful in the early days of the series; Oda just went way too overboard with it later on.
I find it a bit weird that that Oden never brought up anything about one piece during those five years he spent in Wano. Dude found a legendary island with Roger, but kept it all to himself? Why? Shouldn't he at least told his fellow samurai? Did he tell his wife? Did Kaido know about Oden's...
I think FMI was the worst for me. Davyback Fight was annoying, but it was mercifully short. Fishman Island had a terrible villain, an annoying princess, and that horrid nosebleed gag. Perhaps if it hadn't come right after a Marineford and the timeskip it would be more tolerable, but for me it...
Even if the the government knew, I doubt they would care. Kuma became a tool for the WG, and was extremely useful. Not to mention they modeled the Pacifistas after him. So if they knew it would be a seven warlord type situation where they just ignore Kuma's past for convenience.
Yeah, 5 billion is not likely. That kind of bounty is for top tiers like the pirate king. I guess it all depends if Law ends up a Strawhat or not. If he does, his bounty might reach a billion by end of series. Otherwise I don't see him getting there.
