I will say though while I thought Wano was going to be an Capone 2.0 arc as far as Drake went but with success, Oda throwing Kid, Killer, and Hawkins in there was certainly unexpected, but adds more interesting elements overall.
I thought Drake's story / role was going to open up more when he began to show up more frequently in Wano, but it still seems with everything going on at this point, we're still building up to get more info on him eventhough his role as an ally has now been solidified.
You're calling Drake a disappointment when he only just officially received a slightly revised title card that finally solidifies the fact that he is an ally now and this was just in Chapter 998.
I'm of the mind that we weren't going to see him doing anything really impressive or cool until...
It'll be interesting to see if Drake rises up in rank at all from the last time since he's now in the current storyline. In the last poll, he tied for 90th with Pekoms, Yonji, and Zeff, 58th in the 5th poll, and 35th in the 4th poll.
Other than that, I'd like to see if anyone new will break...
In my opinion, yes. While of the majority Worst Generation will never reach Luffy's level EOS, overall, I think we been knew they were important, but some people favor some over others and basically ignore everyone else.
We have literally own seen three of the Worst Generation with more than 10...
This was a pretty good episode. I especially enjoyed seeing Luffy and Zoro's training efforts animated in addition to tombstones having been made for Yasuie And Pedro. That was a great touch.
The next episode has me incredibly excited seeing as Drake will be in it and it'll be awesome to see...
@King7 Same here to be honest, but just gotta wait and see how it unfolds. Drake IS finally taking thr stage this arc so he has to do more than what he's doing at some point. Hopefully.
Also, I can't wait to see everything that Drake is actually capable of in a fight. While I don't participate in Battledome stuff - I just read it - it should get more interesting by then.
Drake could've tried harder in the short fight against Sanji in the anime, but he didn't, and while we know Sanji is pretty strong, calling Drake's defeat that a "low diff" is silly. He's clearly more of a challenge, and that's all I've got to say.
It's not looking great atm for Drake to be heading up to the roof himself to get in on the fighting like I had hoped, but I guess there's still a chance. I still think he deserves to confront and fight Kaido in any case.
As he stated only a few chapters ago, his and Luffy's goal "align" (and we know Luffy's goal: defeating Kaido), so this means allying up with Luffy (and whoever else is in it) to ensure Kaido's defeat, so he's basically in for however long THAT will take. After that--after Wano--it becomes much...
Thanks for the tag Rayan! As of right now, I can't exactly understand why people are saying that Drake's showing is disappointing thus far when nearly 400 chapters passed from his first appearance before we saw his Hybrid Form and nearly 500 chapters passed from then before we knew he had any...
From reading through official translation, Chopper noted noted that the virus spreads because the body cools to extreme temperatures, but wondered if it was possible on the inside.
On the inside, the body's core temperature is ALWAYS hotter, so perhaps he was thinking that maybe the virus only...
