I still doubt the logbook has any huge spoilers in it.
Yeah, Yamato for Nakama has gained a lot of steam with this chapter with not one, but TWO reaffirmations of leaving for adventuring. And now, Yamato is going to get her second flashback later in this arc.
This chapter made believe more that Yamato will join the Strawhats. Yamato, child of Kaidou, and Momo, son of Oden interacting was going to happen. Yamato is going to serve as inspiration for Momo in what kind of shogun he's going to be.
Momo is only important because of Odens influence on Yamato. There's still a sense of distance in their dialogue and Yamato's declaration this chapter could just be from whatever Oden wrote in the log book. Each chapter has me buying more into Yamato.
Considering the flow of storytelling with Yamato, then yeah the ingredients for Strawhat are there.
