Yep, Cora did it out of love, but Law confused it with Corazon's interest in the Will of D until Sengoku corrected him on it. As it stands I think Oda isn't quite finished with Law's story; so I'm not on board with killing the character off for the time being.
But on topic, I think Reverie will...
I love Sanji's whole move set. His was always my favorite among the Strawhats. Diable Jambe never fails to entertain. I just hope it doesn't get replaced by the raid suit.
Technically, yes. One of the reasons he tried to avenge Corazon is because Law thought Cora saved him because he was a D clan member (Cora had the idea that D's were the enemies of the Celestial Dragons which his brother, Doflamingo, was one of). Oda basically linked Law the the Will of D, and I...
I hope Koby's with a team of women sailors. Otherwise Boa's abilities are going to give the capture team a hard time, lol.
Boa no weakling though; she was a warlord. So, uh, good luck Koby. :coffee:
I don't see Law dying until he finds out what the D kingdom is. Vivi is the one I'm worried about right now. She's clearly in the WG's cross-hairs. If she dies, it would be as bad as Ace's death to be honest.
I figure that's the island that has the potential to hold the final war and the final showdown between the SH and the WG. Unless the island is inhabitable, but I figure the marines would be camped out near there anyway to prevent anyone from exploring and accidentally finding the location of one...
Man, everything about Teach is a creepy mystery. I hope the absence of sleep is a byproduct of the darkness fruit. The merged triplet option makes Blackbeard out to be some sort of Frankenstein monster if that's the case. And knowing One Piece... that's probably going to be the case.
:noo:
I expected Wano would be a massive arc. There's just so much to get through, and a lot of information to reveal, but I'm glad Oda is still going to cover Reverie. By the sounds of it there's some amazing events going to unfold. Perhaps Sabo will rescue Vivi? Either way, I can't wait.
One Piece spends more time on islands then on ships or sailing. If Oda ever uses a "walk the plank" scenario it will probably only be for comical purposes.
I thought it was a pretty good episode. Yes they took some liberties, but the action held everything together well enough I think. It sure emphasized the strength differences between Luffy and Kaido. Luffy was given it his all and getting nowhere fast. Kaido's 1 hit K.O. was awesome, and I loved...
That's the point though. The anime's job is to expand and flesh out the content of the manga. Drawing comics is tough and Oda's probably on a tight schedule every week. He's not going to put more into the story than he needs to.
Toei's failure isn't putting in filler; the story needs it to...
Doflamingo is the best written for now. His power, his ruthlessness, and a believable backstory make him a well round villain. He also was a good "underground dealer" type character. He managed to have dealings with the WG and big pirates like Kaido, but managed to keep himself safe from both...
Eh, Luffy's personality is fine. He's supposed to be the dumb but fun protagonist. The problem is the battle system. Oda used to be much more creative with Luffy's battles. Like Luffy vs Crocodile or Luffy vs Enel were just pure awesome because Luffy had to work to get those battles won. Now...
Finally got around to seeing the episode, and I actually kind of like this one. It still a had a few pacing issues, and I could stand to live life without having to see Otama's creepy over-joyed face from eating red bean soup ever again. Otherwise it was the first in awhile that really kept my...
It's going to get brought up at some point, and Oden mentioned that he was looking for answers. I get what you are saying though. It would suck if Oda diverted/ off screened the fight.
Uh, to be fair Roger mentioning he's looking for the legendery island that perhaps has all the answers to history/ void century would be enough to get Oden and Toki invested.
One thing is for sure if the mystery person behind Orochi really has Mr. 2's clone fruit, then they've perished before the present timeline. Maybe they died in the battle where Oden was defeated by Kaido and Orochi. Hmmm...
