Um, Carrot's chances weren't zero otherwise the fanbase wouldn't have been so adamant about her. It's just that her buildup wasn't in the normal parameters of what makes a Strawhat. Her mentor died in the present, the "dawn" is a vague dream that could apply to many minks, and she had no strong...
In terms of potential, Robin. Her not getting haki and not being able to participate in major fights is such a tragedy, imo. Especially since she has one of the most unique fruits in One Piece.
Yeah no, this nonsense has got to stop. Usopp and Franky are both inventors, builders, and sharpshooters to a degree. Not to mention Luffy and Jinbe are both captains, and Brook is swordsman (Zoro), perv (Sanji), and was a captain (Luffy). Oda does occasional overlap with only the person's crew...
The episode was pretty good; much better than the last few. There was a slight bit of dragging at the beginning with Luffy facing fodders that he could have used conquerors on instead. Law vs Hawkins was good. Hopefully Romance Dawn next week will be a nice change of pace for once (or at least...
I think it just comes down to the two series being some of the biggest shounen titles out there, and most people having seen both at some point. Otherwise One Piece and Naruto seem pretty unrelated for the most part.
Also the pirates verses ninjas theme...
Toei just has no incentive to change since people keep watching. Fillers would be an improvement at this rate even if they are nowhere near Oda's writing quality. I'm also kind of wondering how the audience is putting up with the show as it is. The pacing has been kind of unbearable lately.

Nami's body proportions...
Jokes aside, I think Blackbeard is pretty scary. The dude is ruthless and we still don't know how he got two dfs when no one else so far could.
It's kind of getting there, but there's still a lot of mysteries and stuff to get to. Heck, we still don't know what Vegapunk looks like. I also expect the remaining major arcs to be quite long. So we probably got a good 6+ years left if I had to guess.
This episode was better than the last two thank goodness. There was a bit of padding in the beginning, but it was tolerable. The ending was awesome; good ol' Red Hawk for the win.
Looking forward to next episode.
Eh, I'll probably get some heat for this, but oh well. Looking through this topic just now I must say I don't think Zoro is a perfectly balanced leader. Zoro is a half of a whole with Luffy being the other half. Zoro has the motivational drive and the focus to get his crew through tough times...
My guess is because Im views Vivi and Cobra as a potential threat to exposing the corruption of the WG. She could convince the other kings to start paying attention to the matter then the WG might lose face maybe even power if all the leaders were to turn against them.
Nah, I don't like the idea of characters being replacements/ expy of older generations. Luffy will get the pirate king title, but I don't want him being identical to Roger. Being different is good. *Glares @ Sabo*
Drake might be a future admiral, but that is only if some form of the WG system...
Luffy is the best leader of the bunch. He's the glue that brought the crew together in the first place, and he keeps them together with his compassion and charisma. However, Jinbei is a close second place with his motivational speeches and wisdom.
You know, I think that's a problem of both arcs. They both have some really good moments that no One Piece fan would trade away, but everything around said moments is lackluster. I mean WCI has Sanji's complete backstory, Katakuri, and Luffy vs Sanji while Dressrosa has the reveal of Gear 4...
