Oden's presence might have made the fights a little more flashy, but beyond that the story would have remained the same. He definitely would have tried to save Ace and Whitebeard for better or worse.

Kid probably barged into Red Hair's territory, made fun of Shanks having one arm, got owned immediately by the Red Hair Pirates, and Shanks subtracted an arm from Kid in the process (thus making for some good irony). Of course that's all head canon, but I might not be too far off.

I want to see Whitebeard interact with Roger. It would be neat to see two top-tier captains meet. Also how Izo started to work for WB.

Kaido's attack looked great. Everything else was kind of meh, I guess. I expect the next episode to have the first 15 minutes spent on Luffy angrily running towards Kaido based on the preview, lol.

This felt like a recap chapter aside from CE's contribution. I'm hoping the arc starts to move along a bit more soon. I'm super hyped for: ..and I know we are starting to get close. :amazing:

Eh, before this goes further off topic, Luffy's crew isn't anything like the Rocks. The Rocks were a bunch of big personalities held together by one tough guy. Strawhats are working to together towards the goal of finding One Piece, and among other things they function kind of like a family...

I agree with the sentiment that One Piece has a lot of cool designs. Special shout-out to Garp though. He manages to perfectly blend that cool Grandpa look with tough-as-nails navy man (and he's super hilarious to boot). I also think Katakuri, Mihawk, and Buggy are memorable characters design-wise.

Okay episode, but Shutenmaru's goofy face made me laugh way more than it should have. That and the weird choreography of the fight scene took me out of the moment for a bit. Kaido was cool. I hope they play up his drunkeness next week. We'll probably not see Luffy defeated until the episode...

I'd rather Momo not be exactly like his father. Oden was a bit too free-spirited to run a kingdom. He was the kind of man that always needed adventure. Maybe that was fine back then when Wano was a prosperous kingdom, but now Wano needs good leadership to recover from Kaido's tyranny. Also Momo...

I don't expect him to show up either. We got a lot of people in Wano as it is plus the possibility of an admiral and CP-0 being involved. If the Strawhats go meet Shanks after Wano, I expect Mihawk to show up then.

Mostly an exposition episode, but the humor was fun. The art was okay as well, and Shinobu got her introduction. Always thought she was blonde or pink-haired for some reason, lol. Her being a brunette is fine. Can't wait for next week. The fun and action is about to begin.

Kings was hitting the roids' back then I see. Actually his flames appear to be missing as well. Also is that Queen on the right? I can't tell, lol. Obviously the animation team was trying to make them all look imposing and what not, but they screwed up royally me thinks.

I still don't believe it. I know Oda wants to end it, but I don't think he's the type to give his story a rushed finale like that. I mean one whole arc can take two to three years easily and we got at least three major arcs to go (elbaf, final war, raftel). Something's got to give and I hope...
