Haki isn’t only for punching & kicking. You can still coat a slap or a stomp with it, and she uses plenty of those. It’s also for protecting yourself which would be incredibly useful when sprouting limbs on others, with those limbs vulnerable to attack.

It’s the lack of clarity and inconsistency that’s the issue. Things like Bonney having Haki at 12 while a Strawhat like Robin who spent 2 years with the Revolutionary Army doesn’t is just silly.

Translation: it’s dumb as hell and Vegapunk still chose one of the stupidest options possible. Again, there are several options that don’t endanger anyone else, prevents the WG from having fuel for their weapon, preserves all the satellites (minus York), and even keep Vegapunk alive to atone...
