Not a single thing has changed despite those trying to flock and cope with the same excuses from a year ago.
- Kizaru dealt with base & Gear 4 Luffy better than Kaido did.
Even before Luffy’s numerous power ups, he had Kaido bleeding and knocked him to the ground several times.
- Kaido had to...
Everything is always hypothetical, so that excuse doesn’t work.
They were already caught dead to rights when they heard York report to the WG that they were researching the forbidden info.
That’s why the WG sent CP0 to eliminate them anyway.
There’s absolutely no excuse to not eliminate York...
I never expected Kizaru to be defeated in this arc, but it’s still frustrating that Oda is still trying to hide abilities and keep everything in reserve until the end.
There are so many ways to handle fights even if you don’t want a character to show all they have in their bag. Other mangakas...
It’s wild because that is probably the moment that had me most surprised and expectant…but it all went downhill from there and ended up being one of the most painfully stupid things I’ve ever read.
I’m telling you it is the stupidest thing that Oda has ever written. I had to do a double take when I first read that they wiped their memories.
It has seriously killed my faith in Oda’s writing.
Imagine if Vegapunk’s plan had come to fruition without Bonney or the Strawhats going to Egghead.
- In some dark corner of the world, Jewelry Bonney is fleeing the Marines. She runs into a Pacifista, tears streaming down her face crying “Daddy,” only for the Pacifista to tear her to shreds.
And...
None of this even includes the atrocious tone-deafness of having the Strawhats celebrate with Vegapunk’s corpse besides them!
I feel like I’m losing my mind. I thought nothing could be worse than Hitler Hiyori closing out the Wano arc.
What on earth happened to Oda?!?!?!
I’d like to believe that I’m very forgiving when it comes to One Piece. Even with the dragged out broadcast chapters I was going to give the arc an 8/10.
This chapter automatically drops it down to a 7 (which is honestly still generous due to the outside Egghead stuff).
This entire conflict has...
This is pretty much the stupidest, dumbest, most imbecilic thing that Oda has ever written. It undermines the entirety of the arc that Vegapunk knew who the traitor was and decided to erase his memory instead. Actual garbage!
- He doesn’t even try to come up with a contingency and just chooses...
Either way, it seems that several fans will be upset no matter what.
At this point, it’s just likely that black blades will be the result of some esoteric skill that just makes me lose any interest in them.
It’s just a consequence of Oda’s silly decision to make ACoC just armament 2.0.
Now he has to make characters forget that they can use it, on top of unclear visual cues on when it’s actually being used or not.
What a mess.
