It tells me non-WSS, non-black blade user Roger wasn't strong enough.
Also Mihawk doesn't put himself below PK and his rival, but I'm not going through that conversation for the 1000th time, so don't bring that point to me, enjoy the thread about that if you want to.
Mihawk is factually above...
It can be a power originally bestowed by Imu and not dependant on his input, like the Gorosei's immortality.
The second time we saw the teleportation in action was Saturn teleporting the other Goro so what is different this chapter with Gunko performing it?
With that I can agree with but it's not what I took from the original post. Maybe it's just me.
Mihawk was testing the difference between the physical distance (say, 5 KM), which was well within Mihawk or any other top tier's range, and the real distance, all the people they actually have to go...
I do not think Mihawk was talking about strength.
But I also do not think Mihawk was talking about the literal physical distance. He doesn't need a slash with those eyes.
I don't take the ID guards into account because they were all failed awakenings and they just looked like hybrid Choppers.

Those are all fair points.
I'm not rebutting any of that, but I still consider Oda made it a point with Lucci and Luffy that this is the mark of awakening, so...
The Gorosei didn't have ANY fruit tag and Yamato didn't get tags for hybrid form or any other form either.
It honestly can mean both "awakened" and "almost awakened" to me, given Luffy got the clouds when he was in Gear 4, and G4 was some sort of mid-awakening already.
The Gorosei are indeed immediate above the Holy Knights. They are higher ranked. It's very similar wording to what Doflamingo said when he tried to kill Moria.
"Just say Gorosei" as if we didn't say stuff like "higher ups" in real life instead of specific ranks.
The shiny eye is "It looks like he's about to go BEAST MODE... just kidding". Classic gag.
He knows they are about to free Loki, that is why he said if the island is not destroyed.
Imagine Gaban chilling and wasting time while his "three hours into the future future sight" has shown him the...
I think that he has aCoC, it's the only way he could have kept up with Roger and Ray, but if I looked at those panels in a void I wouldn't say he used it there.
:milaugh: So this is "all out Zoro", huh? Man only used haki on Enma with basic armament and even sheathed a blade before going on the offensive for some reason.
