I think Chapter 1043 makes it more apparent than ever that Yamato's post-Wano purpose with Luffy will have something to do with Joy Boy now more than ever, seeing as Luffy has a big connection to Joy Boy now.

So instead of King being Joy Boy's right hand, that it seems like Zoro is meant to be Joy Boy's right hand instead.

And also provides and interesting contrast with Cavendish too. During his change, his eyes were white, whereas with Luffy, his eyes were black.

And what's speculated by some to happen is that Big Mom is going to get back up rather quick since Law and Kid's powers weren't nearly enough compared to what others like Zoro and Sanji can do, out of reasoning that they're both clearly different.
