Luffy and Zoro are not rivals. Luffy is the undisputed captain of his crew and since Arlong Park made the distinction that his one job in the crew was to be the strongest and take down the strongest threat.

When OP is good I'll say it's good, the first few episodes of roof piece were absolutely amazing. They cut up chapter 1010, one of the top 5 chapters in the arc into two episodes, so they could book end and stretch it out with filler. The auras were absolutely excessive and lost the whole point...

Yeah I understand that, just don't overlay his face over Luffys attacks as he does them, and repeating the same clip 3 times within the space of 3 minutes is not endearing or well conceived.

ch1010 was one of the highlights of the arc, and they split it into two poorly paced and conceived episodes, adding strange filler and removing the weight of the scenes. Excessive auras were disgusting, reused recycled shots within the same episode were egregious whether it be Big Mom FALLING...
