Current mood

I've been enjoying this one. It's supposed to be a short series and it seems like it could wrap up soon with the way the pace has been going. No shonen fights, just a decent amnesia puzzle plot about a family who seem to be keeping a lot of secrets from each other.

This thread is dead. Is anyone reading? I'm a little lost with the cast of characters at this point but I can't wait to see how Fuuku is going to bring everyone together again. What even happened to Andy? :noo:

I never really got into Food Wars besides what I caught on Toonami and the Sanji crossovers. But I was really looking forward to chapter 2 of this and I hope it does well. I'm curious see where it goes. (Also, do we have an Undead Unluck thread? What about Ichinose Family's Deadly Sins? Both...

It was ok. I'll probably keep up with it, but I think the premise will run out of plot ideas soon and I'm not looking forward to "Oh jeez I'm a middle schooler" cringe.

Episode 3 was ok. Nothing too exciting animation-wise, but the plot and characters are more fully developed. I thought the swordfight went on too long, and don't often say that about a swordfight. It would've helped if there were some more exciting moves. I get that we needed to have that scene...

Awesome episode 10/10. Everyone looked great but Chobei is already giving Gabi a run for the spotlight. Gantetsusai is my fav though. Can't wait to see their reactions to the island.

Wood release would be the most practical, but sharingan would be more fun.

Sword styles in OP seem like more of a personality trait than a fighting technique. And we hardly ever see two opposing styles matched up against each other in a Rurouni Kenshin way, or something like Hajime no Ippo where every character has a special style with known strengths and weaknesses...
