Sanji being among the few most popular characters is a sure thing, and has been for many years. Forum polls like this one ain't gonna change that.
Bud, I'm expecting greatness from Sanji going forward, like I've been saying for a while. Very excited about what to come.
:pepelit:
Fam, I'm simply making an observation about the combat aspect of Sanji's character post TS as a criticism of how Oda's handled it, the strength and survival of Sanji's character despite that, and how it could relate to the ongoing poll. My self-esteem is quite alright.
Depends on how you look at it I guess. As far as proper, conclusive fights go, Jabra was the last one. Absalom was finished by Nami and Lola, but even counting Absalom, that's still over twelve years ago...
And it's a shame because Oda has put a huge amount of work on Sanji. Literally the most...
Sigh...our fighting cook hasn't had a fight since Jabra 13 years ago...in a battle shonen manga...
The guy is up there in the poll purely on character, and our remembrance of past glory...
I like your breakdown of all these things related to Sanji. Great stuff!
A theory was posted on the OP subreddit a few days ago by the user Cassius96 titled "Vegapunk and Sanji's backstory"(link here). I reckon many readers are familiar with a lot of stuff mentioned in it(eg Sanji's eyebrows...
It knocked her out from a state of insanity to a state of normalcy with her kinda fainting inbetween. Tottland and its inhabitants were saved from total destruction. And BM was lured away. But there's no way she would fall into actual unconsciousness once and for all, Sanji wasn't gonna beat a...
I want Sanji to come from space and clear this Jurassic Park once and for all.

But looking back, it seems that Oda has reserved Anti-manner kick course only for giant creatures.
- The giant alligators.
- That giant during the Davy Back Fight.
- The giant Oars.
If Sanji fights Queen...
Thanks!
And yea, hopefully some greatness from Sanji in that regard.
We can most definetly appreciate this:moonwalk:
Oda thinks he's being slick, though. Giving dat attention to Zoro and Luffy and clearly having Sanji being in the "periphery". He aint fooling me though. I've learned...
Yeah sabotaging the ship is what I meant as the Mr Prince moment, the other attributes are just what comes along with Sanji, though. They can't be separated from him, and my point is that those attributes of his are what drive him to do the Mr Prince stuff.
But I get what you're saying, if...
I dunno, I think he showed his wit, compassion(saving his friends), self-sacrificial nature(going alone without dragging his crewmates). I like to think that's the spirit of "Mr Prince". And against Enel(another Mr Prince moment) he pretty much did the same(wit, compassion and self-sacrifice).
I think Sanji's best "Mr Prince" moment post TS is when he controlled the situation inside Capone's body. In a matter of seconds he:
- Deduced that the one behind his bounty poster and the one arranging the wedding is the same person.
- Realized Caesar's life is too valuable to Capone and used...
