Uh-oh! You got me! Massive L I’m taking when the final fights for each character turned out to be Luffy fighting Kaido, Law and Kid fighting Big Mom, and Zoro fighting…King.
It’s not healthy to be so angry, man.
Ah, Yamato was so cute as a kid. A good, brief backstory for her. Glad to see her shine, she’s strong as hell, and it above that, we’ve got more confirmation she’s going to join the crew. The rest of her backstory should be taken care of when we finally get Kaido’s. The only real thing left is...
Wrong. It was regular CoC, the same that was displayed with Luffy vs Doflamingo and Luffy vs Katakuri. We’ve seen the difference. If it was advanced CoC, he wouldn’t have touched Kaido. Zoro didn’t even have regular CoC before that chapter, and you’re trying to give him a higher level of it the...
Wrong. He wasn’t confused about a normal CoC clash. He was surprised Zoro possessed it, the same as he was when Luffy used it. It was not advanced CoC. We’ve seen what normal CoC clashes and attacks look like via Luffy vs Doflamingo and Luffy vs Katakuri. Zoro’s application of CoC was the...
Wrong. Luffy and Doflamingo, and Luffy and Katakuri demonstrated what attacks infused with normal CoC looks like. Luffy and Kaido showed what advanced CoC looks like. Zoro accidentally used the former. Keep being insecure, though.
Of the two of us, I must be the only one intelligent enough to know that there’s a difference between an attack with CoC and advanced CoC.
Stay insecure about your favs strength though, and keep making up abilities for him.
It never gets old, or any less pathetic for that matter, how the fanboys keep assigning Luffy’s abilities to their favs to make them look better in comparison.
That’s a question for them, not me. I was able to enjoy what I saw without being fantastical about it lol.
They’re trying, not going to ever have any basis in reality lol
Was it last week that people on here were trying to say that garbage about Zoro’s attack power being greater than Luffy’s?
And then a week later we find out that his attack power was insignificant enough to have him deemed not worthy of Kaido’s time such that he was excited by and went after...
It definitely isn’t potential. He recognizes Luffy as worth because Luffy is stronger than everyone else that was there. It’s because Luffy is strong. If it was simply potential, Law, Kid, and Zoro might have been shown, because all of them have potential. Instead, what we got is Kaido walking...
These two things are not mutually exclusive. He didn’t respect Luffy until Luffy went all out against him. If anything, it’s a statement that he and Shanks haven’t had a serious fight against each other. It’s not a referendum on Shanks, in the same way it wouldn’t be on Whitebeard.
Don’t know if it’s been pointed out before, but one of Kaido’s epithets shown in the Vivre Card is “Wisdom King,” which is coincidentally what Hyou called Luffy when Luffy used Boundman. The new Wisdom King is about to do away with the old. Another wrinkle in their fight.
Nice! Yamato flashback incoming! “Onihime” is a pretty cool moniker for someone to have. Also pretty dope that Yamato used CoC to knock out some of Kaido’s subordinates as a kid. Looks like we have our third CoC user in the Straw Hat crew now. This chapter looks really good, and definitely want...
You know good and damn well this isn’t a nerf, and that the raid suit is doing something to his body that is either helping him now or will later help him. The only point of this thread is to soothe insecurity over past performance by insinuating the raid suit was actually a nerf as opposed to...
This chapter was damn great. The first part of the colorspread looks great. Zoro vs King is going to be an excellent fight (also officially goodnight “ZKK” and good riddance), and the long suspected Zoro - Shimotsuki connection finally starting to get focus is awesome. Marco’s interaction with...
Not exactly a fan of the thing with Momo (would rather Marco had picked up Luffy, though the visual of sludgy riding on a dragon as he arrives to fight Kaido will be cool as hell), but I’m definitely excited about the Zoro-Shimotsuki tease. His potential connection to the Shimotsuki, along with...
This was a really good chapter. I like how Marco wasn’t defeated, but was introspective about his era and was simply stepping to the side to allow the next era to step forward. Marco was clearly fine and could have fought them, but chose not to. That’s pretty cool.
The last panel was great and...
He really didn’t.
Zoro landed one hit with his strongest attack on Kaido that Kaido then shrugged off before he turned to an enemy he felt was worth his time, who then proceeded to fight hybrid Kaido in base form and actually pushed Kaido. He is way below Luffy. Stop with this. The entire story...
Except he didn’t.
This is false, given that every enemy Luffy has fought in each arc has been stronger than every enemy Zoro has fough, by a margin that has increased each arc throughout the entire story. The gap has only gotten wider. Hell, in the middle of the series, we were actually given a...
