I like characters that appear confident but actually have self-worth issues which they try to mask with their bravado. I also like it when characters struggle emotionally.
And yes the perverted stuff can be annoying but his character moments ( esp Baratie, WCI and Wano) outshine everybody else's.
It's fine, I'll read it when I have time. Objectively, there are better mangas and there are worse ones. But after 10+ years One piece is the only one that I can still enjoy regularly.
Something doesn't have to be 'peak fiction' to still be enjoyable.

Personally, I don't want Sanji to have it since it doesn't fit his personality. Luffy, Zoro (and perhaps even Ussop later) are all 'conquering' personalities, whereas Sanji is more of a 'leading by kindness' type. CoC doesn't fit him imho...
