Think Kanki has respect for Shin in his own way. That's why i guess.
From a writing POV, it's just a way to make it easier to write Ogiko into the HSU.
i think he'll come later

It's probably a bit harsh here given that GKS is > Jiaga overall. And just because Jiaga is a better fighter than JKR, it doesn't make him a better commander.
Particularly with the way Hara can write, for all we know Jiaga is all hax and zero balance.
Unlikely theory but could the saki clan sabotage kanki and play a role in killing him, so as to free him from his hate?
I don't think there's plot armour tbh. Kaine may have saved him for eg, but Riboku could have saved himself before he went to save her.
I don't really look at any of them and think he got lucky. If we did, then i'm going to start to call every single winner of every single battle, lucky.
Riboku got helped by his own army, in formations designed so that they could help him, should he need it.
Yeah I do think we'll see Bananji have his moment where he hates Qin as much as he hated the Xiognu.
I agree generally but numbers don't mean too much if a commander decides to duel another.
I'm really surprised that Enkan has seemingly survived tbh.
I'd love your idea, but as a theory, i...
It seemed fated for a while that we'd see Bananji vs Akou go all out in a duel one day. I guess it still may happen in future. Also, damn Bananji needs to bring back the helmet.
I never understood why anyone ever expected a Riboku vs Shin duel. Riboku might be a warrior but he's never, ever been portrayed as someone on the top level, martially speaking.
A B doesn't really make much sense, but my head-cannon explanation was that he spent most of his time by the side of the lord of the warring states (whatever his name was).
In reality, the concept of FD was a simple retcon. Gokei would be an A or S if done today.
That's what I'm saying - "If Kanki did it". Kanki is just about the only man who would do it. Riboku believes he will do it, precisely because of how Kanki operates.
He cares for the citizens and felt Kanki could brutalise them. That's point.
If Tou had this exact same strategy as Kanki, brutalising the civillians would not be a possibility (or probability?) and therefore, not something Riboku would crap his pants over.
Let's put that into some perspective though. Kanki's psychological warfare is (in part) so incredible due to the pure, evil depths that he is prepared to go to.
Riboku is by nature a good person. He cares for his state. Anyone who cares for people will automatically be in trouble against...
