Bad example. Ask yourself in which direction he's kicking the ball then look at the direction from where sanji is blocking the kick.
Plus the position of the knee doesn't make it look like it's the same stance at all.
He kicked with his left leg, sanji stopped the force behind it but couldn't handle the toughness of Vergo's body. It's a good feat for both of them actually.

By the way the tags didn't work for me. Might be the same for the others.

How does that gif prove your point in the slightest? Vergo’s attack is coming from Sanji’s right and hitting the right side of Sanji’s right leg.

If Vergo kicked like how that picture shows, he should be hitting Sanji’s left side. Also, that bloke’s leg is pointing up while Vergo’s is pointing forwards.

Just look at the football player's foot. It's not the same as Vergo and for him to do that he would have to be a contortionist.
