Kaido respects Oden its his first and only scar
Kaido challenged the marines and yonko but none of them could give him a permanent scar-like Oden did
Kaido also first goes dragon mode and when he starts to become serious he changes back to human form
He didnt even use hybird form

Yes in Kaidos case it is or his human form is durable as his Dragon form
Luffy points it out and did attacked Kaido in his human form too with gear 4 and Kaido withstand it
So what do you conclude from it ?
He changes back in his human form and round up the scabbards easily while in his Dragon form they could fight better
Lol in the end Kaidos human form is superior to his dragon form
