Is KOH Separate From ACOC?

Recent thread about Wano PUs showed that even Zoro fans are divided between whether they consider KOH a separate PU from ACoC or not.

I personally think that ACoC and KoH are different PUs, KoH is a utilization of ACoC but it is in itself separate from just ACoC.

It's like Zoro's versions of powerups:
  1. One sword style
  2. Two sword style
  3. Three sword style
  4. Nine sword style (Asura)
  5. KOH Three sword style

Additionally KOH Rengoku Onigiri and KOH DD are used with clear KOH announcement/name but Bird Dance is not called KOH Bird Dance even when ACoC is clearly shown. It can be argued though that KOH was not added to Bird Dance that it was a quick counter move and not a prepped move like the other two and hence why KOH was not added.

Yes and no.

KoH is CoC coating, but Zoro can (and has) used CoC coating without the KoH look. The difference is just a matter of whether he puts some CoC on his attacks, or if he goes all out like Enma intended and maximizes his CoC output. Not much different to going from CoA that can't injure human Kaido's neck to CoA that can pierce his dragon scales in an AoE attack. Different outputs.

So in a sense I guess KoH is just a bigass concentration of CoC coating.

Rubber Body ---> Swords
Gear 1 + Gear 2 + Gear 3 ---> One-Sword Style + Two-Sword Style + Three-Sword Style
  • Gear 2 & 3 Give Strength/Speed Boost ---> One-Sword is for Max Speed, while Three-Swords is for Max Strength
  • Both got their Techniques Upgraded by CoA (Such as Gigante Pistole becoming Elephant Gun & Oni Giri becoming Rengoku Oni Giri)
  • Both Unlocked Adv. CoC which is basically OP's Version of Super Saiyan
Gear 4 ---> King of Hell Sword Style
  • Both Exhaust their entire Haki to use this Form, it's their Temporary Incomplete Awakening Form
Gear 5 ---> Asura (Nine-Sword Style)
  • This represents their Peak/Ultimate Form & Full Awakening
  • Asura was Non-Mastered though, but that might have changed with his Death

I’ve always seen KoH as overflowing ACoA (green smoke) stacked with ACoC. Zoro is the physical embodiment of Enma, King of all Demons, and the foundation of that power is ACoA.That’s why Bird Dance wasn’t a KOH attack because it was only used with ACoC.

Zoro basically has multiple levels of haki he can tap in to:

- basic ACoA
- overflowing ACoA (green smoke)
- ACoC
- KOH ( overflowing ACoA with ACoC)
- KOH 3 Dragon Style (overflowing ACoA with overflowing ACoC)

It's just that Acoc is not equal to the King of Hell. King of Hell = releasing a large amount of acoc+acoa when attacking. That is, without a lot of acoa in the attack, it is not the King of Hell. Bird Dance only used Acoc, but Zoro didn't make the KoH prefix. KoH is only a huge amount of acoc+acoa.

I consider them different.

CoC & Exoskeleton are like built-in talent, something they always have but only recently awakened it.

Asura, later KoH, and Diable, later Ifrit, are like the application of their fighting style.

- Asura & Diable can be used normally.
- KoH & Ifrit requires their talent, CoC & Exoskeleton respectively, to be used.

- Asura + CoC = KoH
- Diable + Exo = Ifrit

Enma doesn't need Acoc at all. She didn't pull it out of Zoro, not on the roof, not in a fight with King, not at the first use. Also, Auden did not know about acoc until he was 30, although he went with her all his life. Enma only needs that the swordsman is not a coward and does not restrain his haki when attacking, otherwise Enma will suck the haki themselves through the hand holding her, testing the owner. King of Hell, this is a play on words in honor of the royal haki, Enma and a huge amount of acoa (it is acoa that is the key to taming Enma). If Zoro didn't have a coc, he would have given the three blades everything he had, just a bunch of smoke hacks (acoa), but since he woke up the coc on the roof, along with the required amount of acoa, he also gave out acoc. And this simultaneous combination of a large number of haki =King of Hell

KoH and ACoC are different PU, basically one Haki PU & the other Swordsmanship PU.

For Zoro :
- His body : ACoC is... Haki upgrade.
- His tools (sword) : KoH is swordsmanship upgrade.

For Luffy :
- His body : ACoC is Haki upgrade.
- His tools (devil fruit) : Gear 5 is DF upgrade

For Sanji :
- His body : Exoskeleton
- His tools : Raid Su... Oh wait

Yes. Zoro did use attacks like birddance/ultratigerhunt with advcoc.

But KOH attacks are completely different. Maybe 2 tiers above from his basic advcoc attacks

Post automatically merged:

Holy fuck i totally forgot the fucking greenfiee when he use KOH mode.

Birddance with advcoc didnt had green fire meaning Only KOH mod has

Its debunked

But Zoro is different from Sanji and Luffy. If you take the "tools" from the Cook and Goofy, they will lose a lot of power. Take the Enma from Zoro and give him any other blade, he is still able to use KoH mode.
