The SBS answer messed things up a little with reveal of Rocks age. I just thought that no way would a 25 yo Rookie be able to get all the way into MG, threaten Imu, kidnap the kings, kill the Admiral, clash with HK and blow away the gates of justice. The design probably didnt change that much either I think, mostly Oda shows growth through changes in design. To give a younger impression Oda made Garp and Roger look very young at GV compared to how he generally draws 40 year olds.

Based on the earlier assumptions it always felt like Rocks was much older than Roger and Garp like 15 years or something like the difference between Kaido and WB or Shanks and Dragon. Turns out there was barely any difference. Its like Luffy and Kid/Law type difference.

At time of his death Rocks was 43, same as Mihawk is right now while Shanks is 39 like Roger/Garp in GV I think. Do you think all these guys had reached their primes at GV or there was still room for them to grow. And if there was room for them to grow then do you think that current characters in same age bracket also have the chance to grow.

I had countless arguments with you illiterate dorks about this.

Y’all kept ignoring the fact Oda grouped Roger, Garp and Rocks together, and that the text described their blood burning with energy of youth or some shit like that, 6 years before God Valley.

I told y’all even if Rocks was in his prime, he wasn’t at his peak, but y’all were too busy making up your own happiness for your powerscaling hype beast bullshit. :suresure:

Rocks felt like old gen compared to new gen like Roger/WB/Garp.

Before I connected his death to, Kaidou's death age, Akainu last prime years, Dragons age, Roger death age.

Which was around 55~60.
It could have connected to, MJ incident 18 years ago before God valley.

He would be around (37~42) and one piece general prime age is 39~ (Ofc removing the exceptions like Luffy, Zoro and co)

Also Rivals really ain't that faraway in age.
Roger~Whitebeard (4~5 year difference)
Shanks~Mihawk (4~5 year difference)
Kaidou~Oden (though not rivals, but did fought and respected each other, same age. )


Going by that logic, Harald was Xebec supposed rival.
Harald last recorded age is, 144, converting into Human years, is 3:1 or 4:1 (I think only for Ancient giant), 18 years ago, harald would be 126 years old.
3:1 = 42~ human years ±5 years, 37/47 years old.
4:1 = 31~ human years ±5 years, 36/26 years old.

Yes prime Mihawk and Saint Shanks are neg diff material for Holy Knight Harald, Saint Shanks and Mihawk getting stronger after this time is an obvious lie lol. Nothing inconsistent about Lolda’s writing, you just can’t read

An admiral got killed in low diff by a 25-year-old rookie, Xebec, who isn't even the protagonist or the incarnation of a God/Joyboy, damn it.

Oh, the gap in age is really that small? I expected at least 10 years compared to Roger.
Still 7 years compared to Whitebeard, which kinda fits my expectations.
I think they were all in prime on God Valley, all possessed aCoC, except for Kaido, who was still a rookie.

SBS did not mess up anything. Only some fanboys headcanon .

Xebec was him and sooner everyone accepts it the better.

Killing an admiral and destroying the gate of justice is better feat than anything Roger pulled off.

The sooner everyone realises Garling is relative in power to Shanks and Shamrock and Xebec made quick work of him the better for everyones agenda.

Xebec had only one man he considered his equal and that was Harald not Roger not Whitebeard but Harald. Whitebeard was under his nose for years , already had his devil fruit and Acoc, he knew his strength and potential and still only considered Harald his true equal.
