Honestly, this seems like a great way to keep this battle from getting any more bloated or unnecessarily prolonged...it can take however many chapters are needed to reasonably resolve shit with both Yonko, but it might be better for the pace of the rest of the series if Act 3 is all-encompassing enough to wrap Wano up by its conclusion :luuh:

It seems like the community is fixated on the idea that there are going to be 5 Acts. Furthermore some have read that Act 3 can end in a tragedy and so assume the Luffy and co are once again going to be defeated in this battle.

But there's a few things you need to know:

- Kabuki plays don't need to be 5 Acts, the One Piece kabuki play is actually in 3 Acts for example and for info is structured like this:

Act 1: 60 minutes
Act 2: 65 minutes
Act 3: 85 minutes.

As you can see Act 3 is actually the longest Act out of the 3. There isn't 5 Acts.

- Jo-Ha-Kyu is the actual play structure that is adopted in many forms of art, and it is applied within individual acts and within plays.

Jo begins slowly, engaging in exploration and building expectation. Ha speeds things up, the unfolding and then scattering of an idea. Kyu dissolves rapidly into the original pace, a culmination of the ha and then a reincarnation as jo. Jo-ha-kyu usually runs through multiple cycles, so that the cumulative effect is of an undulating wave, like the ocean repeatedly crashing on a shoreline—rippling, surging, and cresting, over and over again.

- The concept of Jo-Ha-Kyu is about story progression and the tempo involved. It doesn't mean there must be a tragedy in a 'Act 3', and clearly plays can be divided into how many Acts the creators want.

- Earlier in the arc, Oda titled one of the Chapters 'Ha' which seems to be a reference to Jo-Ha-Kyu not a 5 Act play structure.

- In my opinion, it's much more likely Wano is divided into 3 Acts, and we're well and truly into the final Wano Act as Luffy and co have officially started the main battle with Kaido on the rooftop.

- Of course we can have twists and possible deaths in this Act, but it doesn't need to be accompanied by some sort of Act 3 end then an intermission, and then a regroup and come back in Act 4 or 5.
Wano is already the worst arc (it's my opinion) and if two Emperors get defeated so easily by 5 weaklings, then Wano has a special place in "hall of fame" of worst arcs.

I will lough my ass of if the strowhats win against Kaido and Big Mom this easily...

You got tired of Wano, Right? So much for an arc that was vowed to be better than Marinford, Haha...
In this 3m minutes there's more tension than in entire Wano arc.

3 acts or 5 acts no matter what, I doubt that the alliance will lose now.
The alliance losing means that Kaido crashes Onigashima on the flower capital. Which will lead of a lot of humans casualties. Do you see Oda drawing that?
Do you see Oda draw a scenario where Luffy’s failure lead to the death of several humans life?
They all don't have to lose but there will be a low point for the alliance where the situation looks very grim like there is in every major arc.

I do not think that this battle on the roof is the last one against Kaido, I think that there may be three rounds against him and that the last one will happen onthe mainland, and that it will happen in act 4.

Oda will drag things again like back on Dressrosa.

@T.D.A slapping some dudes with good arguments/evidence.

For real, i also personally have a hard time seeing how this arc ends anywhere soon. The fights have not even really started yet. I think Wano can end in this Act, but it'll be like at least another year imo, so I'd prefer more acts so that i can see some of the outside events in the world.

A 5th act isn't needed, tbh

Dude, act III is ending SOON... 1006-1010 I would say, then we will get the Sabo, Vivi, Boa Hancock thing and maybe... The new stuff about Shanks that Oda said we will get for this year.

Remember we had several weeks of breaks and shits because of Coronito, so the manga is delayed.
Weren’t we supposed to get some kind of tragedy by the end of Act 3?

Do you think that’s still gonna happen, and if so what will it be?
