Imho, Oda killed OP power scaling when he had Katakuri unload on Luffy for 12 hours straight without KOing him, then made Kaido one shot him in Base lol. I just don’t find OP power levels interesting any more after that crap

Maybe when Oda reveals that the gap between YC1 and Yonko isn’t as big as everyone thinks it is lol.

This was also inconsistent as hell; DR Luffy was koed for 3 days by far less damage, WCI Luffy was koed by a few hits from Sanji (granted, he was exhausted because of Cracker but at least Cracker didn't beat him straight for 9h and he was still able to eat his biscuit soldier), got up and was koed by the Opera brothers with a single hardening attack but somehow, Luffy can endure G2+/G3+ attacks for 9 entire hours while missing a chunk of his stomach lmao.

That is true. Katakuri's offence is very powerful but Luffy's endurance is just way too high. That's not Katakuri's fault.

Katakuri's offense is roughly G4 (pre ryou) level, easily above G2/3.

-His awakened (power) mochi attacks were comfortably countering Kong Gun level attacks
-His regular (non awakened) base attacks > snakeman's regular attacks

His offense is levels above Doflamingo's. Luffy was already looking trashed before power mochi even came out, he was on some "willpower" juice.
