Not really, but there is a gap, sakazuki is more powerful than marinford( after his fight with aokiji who lost a leg so he's not strong as two years ago).
Imo akainu beat admirals high diff. Not extrem diff the gap does exist.
In conclusion no, there isn't a big cap but a cap, and it's the same for goathawk.

Why not? Why mihwk shouldn't have? He's the stronger sword man, his ambition and determination are just in another lvl
Akainu should have Coc yes obviously but it's not sure ans for aokiji he hasn't. Akainu okay I understand but aojiji hasn't proof anything to have Coc. He could but he shouldn't obligatory. And for kizaru it's obvious that he doesn't have Coc.. not a question about he will be to strong... just he's not a leader, he hasn't any ambition.

If Mihawks has CoC he should have recognized Zoro has it and trained him too. Also Mihawks is a little similar to Kaido. Both seem to want to be surpassed. Mihawk truly wants Zoro to surpass him. He probably thought the same about Shanks but would be a shame losing to one-armed man. Mihawk know his limitation by not having CoC.

Akainu has to have CoC just to keep up with WB at Marineford. Sengoku has it, Garp has to have it. Aokiji fought Akainu for 10 days so he must have too. I would argue that Aokiji is(or was) actually stronger than Akainu but Akainu DF advantage made him win.

I don't see why losing a leg would make Aokiji weaker lol. And if Akainu grew in strength, shouldn't Aokiji as well?

Sakazuki can defeat mihawk but extrem diff( like he can lose).

But you should know Warlords are just the allies of WG and not part of it. WG call them when it's necessary, but they can refuse it while the admirals can't do that because it's their duty.
It's just a way for Oda to hype also the admirals.
