Jinbei vs Ace, Roger vs Newgate, Big Mom vs Kaido, Lucci vs Luffy, Jack vs Inu + Neko,

Extreme-diffs don't end in one becoming crippled and being at the other's mercy.
Well, closer fight with a victory. Obviously Dorry and Broggy are the closest, but Roger and WB and Big Mom and Kaido didn't end with a victor.

And of course they can, Akainu won lol.

If Admiral = FA, then becoming FA just comes down to random chance pretty much, not potential.
Only if you view the Fleet Admiral as being selected solely by strength, which is never how the manga presented it lmfao. The Fleet Admiral is selected by service record and disposition which has nothing to do with strength. Sengoku nominated Aokiji for the rank due to Aokiji’s morals, not his strength.

That's fair.

Akainu winning isn't evidence of that. Simply provides credence to it not being an extreme-diff. When Oda wants to showcase individuals who're on similar level of power/highly close to each other for off-panel fights, you'll get results like Mihawk/Shanks, Garp/Roger, Newgate/Roger, where they scar each other but come out capable of fighting each other next time.

Slightly chipped ear + scars vs entire missing leg + scars, is not symbolism for that.

Micky mouse rivalries, if Mihawk really couldn't scar Shanks when Teach did so before even getting a DF, he is trash. This is a real fight between two guys, not some bullshit "Duel" between inbred weaklings lmfao

Mihawk did scar Shanks lol. Not sure what the point of the useless slander was.

You have already met the strength requirement for Fleet Admiral the minute you become an Admiral. After that it's about leadership.

Sakazuki — Almost definitely, he has strong ambitions and has to defeat a fellow admiral for his position, mirroring Blackbeards victory over Marco.

Kuzan — Potential is there, it’s odd it wasn’t revealed against Garp but the window is not closed. It can easily be seen in his fight against Koby.

Kizaru — Less than 10% he has it. We got an arc full of Kizaru and there’s no hint or sign of it. I’m not sure why Oda wouldn’t show off CoC against Luffy.

Fujitora — 50/50, could have it. He’s a strong willed admiral who clearly only submits to the WG in name only.

Greenbull — Need to see more from him but given his reaction to shanks, I think he’s a 0.

No, it hasn't been confirmed that Mihawk scarred him, nor was it ever implied they had real multiple day long duels
Duration of duel has no correlation to whether something was extreme-diff or lower. You can have a short fight that's extreme-diff ending within hour, or something lasts long with the one fighter still capable of going for more while the other not. Simply depends on the abilities of the characters at play. Just as you can have a 3 round boxing match at extreme-diff, or a 10-round boxing match with one dude still capable of going for multiple more rounds.

He specifically states he's received countless scars:

He then clarifies that the ones on his face aren't specifically from an adventure or from his fight with Mihawk. Meaning there are other scars he possesses from his fight with Mihawk and his various adventures.

Kuzan isn't pushing Saka to extreme-diff.

Micky mouse rivalries.
Though.. this is a bit weird of a statement... considering that's exactly what Kuzan-Akainu is... a mickey mouse fan pushed rivalry. They had 1 fight and that was it, nothing before nothing after, and only because Akainu felt like being nice about it and giving Kuzan a chance at the FA title. Hell I'm pretty sure they don't have a single on-panel interaction outside of the 1 scene at Marineford. That's certainly a legit rivalry... lol.

Shanks might as well say to whitebeard "My fights with Mihawk was Mickey mouse shit, Blackbeard is the guy who really shook me", and it would be completely accurate.

Even if Mihawk is one of the guys who gave Shanks one of his "countless scars"(which again, not really confirmed), the fight still had no stakes, and they could end it whenever. Akainu vs Kuzan had real stakes. There HAD to be a winner

But It was.

Because that wasn't the point of the fight and Kizaru wasn't even seen with random black haki or a new named move? He used his sword only with clones too lol.

And in the end he even saved Luffy.

It wasn't a real fight under any metric.

Fujitora — 50/50, could have it. He’s a strong willed admiral who clearly only submits to the WG in name only.
He Is literally part of a group with 100% rate of CoC users.

Greenbull — Need to see more from him but given his reaction to shanks, I think he’s a 0.
Then you must think it's 0 even from Imu and all Gorosei.

How do red puppytards say Kizaru can't have it because he didn't show it in Egghead, when Akainu didn't show it in all of marineford?

- I don't really care about your obssession for Shanks/Mihawk slander. You can probably take this with somebody who cares for slander.

- How do you know the fight had no stakes?? we just making up non-sense?? Mihawk till this day is waiting to fight a swordsman who surpasses Shanks, the first character interaction between the two is literally about fighting. Mihawk's entire character derives of asserting himself as the top dude, with clarity. So yes their fight also needed to have a winner. You don't need shit like justice to have stakes.

Yes and the winner came out with a chipped ear + scars, the loser came out of it with a missing limb + scar and then shown mercy (if you really want me to get nasty I can easily push the "akainu held back emotionally" agenda). That's a clear gap in damage done. Yet your'e tryna push Saka was pushed to extreme-diff, based on simple duration of the fight.

It's not slander, it's just a fact that interactions with Mihawk and Shanks end with them getting drunk. There is zero bad blood between the two whatsoever. What were the stakes of the sword duels they had? It's not implied they have a shared goal or anything like that, and Mihawk specifically has no interest in fame or noterity.

Meanwhile, Akainu and Kuzan have had bad blood for decades, they split an entire island in half, equally, and were competing for a position. Of course one fight ended with one losing a limb, and the other didn't.(also, its implied Shanks has Regen or whatever anyway, so it doesn't really matter).

- Their desire to prove who is superior of the two is all they need. You don't need shit like "justice" or etc to have a serious fight. Neither does having bad blood mean you'll have some super-duper powerup going for you over others who don't give a single shit about justice, but about simply about asserting their individual prowess over another, something both heavily care about. Mihawk-Shanks interaction showed more "bad blood" than anything leading up to that fight between Saka-Kuzan.

-> They had no conflict before the fight nor after the fight. Sakazuki had no bad blood with Kuzan. Kuzan wasn't besties with Akainu due to his nature, that's it.
-> That's an indication of their DF skills being on par, not their superiority over the others as fighters.
-> Shanks isn't implied to have regen, as pointed out by his own statement of having countless scars. The symbol on his arm isn't the symbol of the abyss with Dragon of the Hoof being in its center, which is visible on Sommer's arms. It's a symbol related to the HKs.
-> They weren't competing for a position, the WG had already selected Akainu as the fleet admiral, Kuzan came out in position to it. To which Akainu in his good grace allowed him to fight him for the position.
