Future Events Akainu is still the final villain

Funny how plot saved WB from Akainu twice lol. Oda tried his best not to have Akainu put WB in a bodybag whenever they encountered each other for more than 5 sec.
Funny how Akainu got ragdolled against Whitebeard who was 24/7 on life support and surrounded by a literal army of nurses prior to Marineford. Give fodder marines Akainu's fruit and they replicate all his feats.

We're going to leave Domi-Xebec, which requires Garp and Roger to team up to stop it...
For a guy who took two shots from a 78-year-old man with cancer, wounded, and unable to even use Haki properly.

I could place Akainu above Roger and close to Kaido, but Whitebeard, at almost 80 years old, sick, needing medical equipment, and unable to even use Haki properly and nerfed in his Haki senses, still had him in the palm of his hand.

Latest chapters sealed Imu's fate of never reaching the final villain status and just being a team up fight for Goofy and Blackbeard or at least Blackbeard only:

After Blackbeard negates Imu's shitty regen gimmick, it will be easy to wipe the floor with him and his weak ass goons. So I will not talk about Imu here, since he's irrelevant.

Akainu and Blackbeard have been grouped as a Marines/Pirate duo
Their promotions were the two biggest events during timeskip

But even with all that, Akainu still edges out Blackbeard as being more important and evil:

1. Koby went to confront Akainu in order to stop the war, not Blackbeard
while Blackbeard watches from the side
2. Kuzan deems Akainu far too evil to work under, while he has no problem working for Blackbeard, which shows that Blackbeard is less evil of the 2:
3. Oda acknowledging making Akainu sit out until endgame like EoS boss, while Blackbeard is making early moves because he will fall sooner
4. And most obvious- Akainu scarred and is connected to the MC, while BB scarred and is connected to the side character:
Akainu also has the:
  • Biggest army in the world
  • Seraphim
  • 5bil bounty vs 3.9bil
  • 3 strongest underlings in the world (Kizaru, Aramki, Fujitora) vs Blackbeard's (Shiryu, Laffite, Pizzaro)
Which obvious logic dictated that the character with stronger underlings is left for later in the story in order for MC's underlings to get strong enough to take on.

Blackbeard doesn't have any moral opposition for the MC. Blackbeard is same freedom lover like MC.

Meanwhile Akainu is literally all about control and killing children for their father's sins, which is opposite of freedom

Joyboy was the guy who started the piracy

Honestly "Blackbeard is final villain" guys only say that because it's the only IRL pirate they know and black = evil,
but when you ask them how will Blackbeard give a final fighting challenge to MC with Shiryu/Laffite/Pizzaro and few other titanic jobbers that were getting thrown around by a small force of Akainu's underlings- they freeze up.
:Tou_Cheers:
Things is Akainu has scrubs like Greenshoes who became a little bitch that got wifi diffed, Kizaru who got blocked by Fodderji's shoes and Fujitora who got sent flying by G3 DR Luffy. Aside from those 3, the remaining are official jobbers in the series: the Vice Admirals.

While Blackbeard has total monsters like Shiryu and Aokiji who retired the legendary Marine Garp who is more famous than Akainu himself.
Blackbeard has Akainu's extreme diff equal as his underling and he is not even the strongest underling.

Sister really wants to die on this hill... :crazwhat:

You forget Oda's message what OP was always about - always intended as the story about the 4 Emperors fighting over the treasure.
While I still havent figured out what the exact purpose of Marines is in the story, I seriously doubt Marines will make it into the final round of battles over who gets to claim the ultimate treasure.

Regarding the part I quoted, you have to understand that both Shiryu and Blackbeard will be able to solo entire Marine forces.
All Admirals are DF merchants while Shiryu and Blackbeard will be the most stacked DF merchants in the show.

Regarding the final villain, it will not be the one who leads the strongest force, quite the opposite - the final villain will be a lone wolf, a remnant of the First World, likely the one who is responsible for the original sin of creating the Devil Fruits. Akainu and alike have nothing to do in a scenario like that. Blackbeard stands a chance at being this final villain if he harbors his soul inside himself or somehow ends up becoming the vessel for him but otherwise, even Blackbeard is not the final villain.

FV will either be a new character that we never saw or he will take over the body of one of the characters we know.
It could be Blackbeard or Buggy but I am leaning more towards Buggy because Oda isnt dragging him around for no reason at all.

those two share a birthday

akainu will try to see to it that they also share their date of death.

both have been sunk recently. the navy must have been following barto, together with all other grand fleet captains, after what happened at the revery. that law was being watched we know for sure. akainu was notified when bb attacked the heart pirates. heavily injured, without ship, those two must have been easy picking for random marines. they are now awaiting execution. maybe they are in a cell with doffy.

That's only if the Marines under Akainu effectively emancipate themselves from the WG. In terms of ranks, Kong has still more authority than Akainu, while the Elders have more authority than even him. That includes the elders and celestial dragons having more authority over the admirals than the fleet admiral. And if we are talking about an all out war with the WG, the WG will utilize the marines, including the admirals, at the forefront.
