I will die if there was no timeskip whatsoever and Ash is still a kid battling trainers much older than him. :catcry:
Someone on Reddit brought up a good point about aging up Ash and why they're probably not doing it.

If you age him up, you have to age up all the other characters from the games and the anime which forces the staff to come up with new designs. Adds more unnecessary work in an already crunched environment. So if a timeskip doesn't happen, I won't be too shocked.

Once again, they should’ve done it years ago to avoid all of that. They chose to keep a character relatable to younger kids instead of making a character that can be relatable to older kids and adults who would stick around from the beginning to the end. Even younger kids watched Dragon Ball Z despite the main character being older; I was one of them.

”Peter Pan” characters end up having a lot of problems later on when they get constantly retconned every season. Pikachu’s loss to Snivy in Black and White was so irritating to me.

100% agreed.

And they came up with such a lame excuse for it too :kriwhat:

So...uhhh....I thought I'd solo this game over the entire Christmas break

But I'm already done, the pokemon league was way too easy :seriously:

Is the post game for Pokemon Sun fun? Or should I just jump to gen 8?
Seeing how my last Xmas pokemon journey went....I'm hesitant to start Pokemon Shield. I have it ready to go but not sure if it's worth it. Suggestions?

There is no reason to start SwSh if you have the option to play Legends or SV :willsmith:

Actually, the main Gen 8 games WERE fun, but they didn’t last long enough unless you bought both DLCs…like I did :hihihi:

Beat the game

Anything interesting/unique in the post game? Or should I jump into Arceus? :pepebuggy:
Playing recently sword again, probably staying alone with that opinion, but I love sword more than I did with Scarlet. I love Scarlet duo the area battle with the titans and also because of character like Arven, also love the end fight. I also like the system with 18 Badges.

But I like the Gym matches and also the whole map of Sword more, even Leon is far better as what we got as champ in scarlet. I love how his gym leader had a role in sword and had a special focus on the story, I feel like the focus on Gym fight and also the end tournament been far better in sword than scarlet.

Also Hop as Rival is for me one of my fav since he had a great devolpment.

Both are great games for me, as someone who love Gym fights in a focus way, also someone who love the tournament system in sword, I like the game little more than scarlet.
But both are for me over 8+in rating.

Only Pokemon game who is less for me was Sun/Moon, probably in my rankimg the worst game in Pokemon.

Nice. I haven't played Scarlet/Violet yet. Wanna play Arceus first.

I agree on Hop. He wasn't as annoying as traditional rivals characters lol

The overall set up was great and really smooth to get through. I would've preferred the final matches to be a little more challenging tho. Kinda felt like I beat Leon too easily. But he had a Charizard so I bet the "Gen 1 is the best" lads loved that lol
