If it is a fake defeat, then her prior defeat is filler writing by definition. If she is indeed defeated, it is filler writing because she served absolutely no purpose. Oda is a crap writer. The editors need to force Oda to retire and let someone else write One Piece.

There are still 5 remaining numbers. So far Nami, Usopp, Chopper, Kawamatsu, and Izo still don't have fights. I think Oda will just give the remaining numbers devil fruits to justify them being strong so the remaining allies can get their true 1v1s

If that's their "true" 1v1 then dont even show it. It's such a downgrade, both power wise and entertainment wise.

Page One and Ulti should not have been done dirt but rather served as tools to empower Nami's and Usopp's hakis at best, a shame in my personal opinion.
