Character Discussion Anyone else think that the Seraphim were kinda dumb additions to the story?

Tbh I’m not really sure what the point of the Seraphim is. Feels like they just exist to pad out the amount of fights in the final war. They’re not really interesting as characters since they’re just essentially mindless robots, and their fighting styles are pretty much just copies of the Warlords’ fighting styles, but with a little bit of King and Queen mixed in. Their existence also begs the question of why the WG doesn’t just make even more of them. Why not have S-Admirals and S-Yonko?

Shichibukai system: A system that the WG/Navy allows certain notorious pirates to act more freely while being required to sometimes put fear into the hearts of others pirates as they primarily work for the wg/navy.
The issue: these pirates were simply too unreliable. Many scandals like Crocodile trying to take over Alabasta, Doffy's reign in Dressrosa, Teach's betrayal, Jimbo's resignation, etc.
The solution: create powerful pacifistas that resemble these same notorious shichibukais, to both capitalize on their infamy, as well as reproducing a race that has extremely broken abilities (lunarians). Make them obedient so you have less issues.
The 2nd issue: they retain some of the original person's personality, because Oda decided that personality is genetical. So some of them may still be problematic, but they are still programmed to be obedient. So there's less chance for scandals.

Because Vegapunk can't fully replicate Logias and 4/5 of the Admirals have them. And Yonkou are too dangerous if their programming goes haywire.

I wish that they were based off new characters instead of the Warlords

Maybe like "legendary marine heroes" from the past.
