Lol Kizaru is far more consistent than Garp, he's never been portrayed as a good guy, he just has some close friends as do the worst of villains to ever live. It doesn't make him inconsistent, it just means he's human.

Garp is a walking contradiction, Kizaru is perfectly fine with his duties as long as they don't involve personal friends or family. That is normal.
I don't care what you tell me, I'm not going to feel pity for someone who was always alright with getting people killed before.
This is like telling me to feel sorry if Garling started crying and begging for Blackbeard, Shanks, whoever fights Shamrock, to not kill Shamrock because he's his son. I'm not having that much sympathy for a villain just because they happen to not be villainous to every single person they've met. They need to get their shit straight.

You're creating your own points and then responding to them. No where did I say you should feel pity for Kizaru, in fact I'm saying the opposite. He's a villain who wants his close friends to be an exception.

Garp was totally fine and in on the plot with Shakky getting kidnapped and potentially raped by CDs.

Bro was literally chuckling about it with Kong

And I'm saying that Oda himself was framing it as if we should feel sorry for Kizaru.

I already debunked this but go off I guess. I don't have time to repeat my self so just look at this panel:

I don't think so. Most people didn't even think he was nerfed mentally because how big of a dick Kizaru is.

With Garp in MF it was a lot more obvious. Oda portrays Garp as a Hero, he's never portrayed Kizaru as a hero, not even once. He's just human. He even only revealed that he fed Luffy in an sbs because he didn't want that in the manga.

Kizaru telling Luffy he doesn't want to kill Vegapunk, saying he doesn't want to make this more painful than it should be, sneaking food to Luffy, telling fodder Marines he's badly wounded mentally, yelling at Akainu for doubting that he killed Vegapunk, saying he's about to cry because of the events on Egghead, etc.
He's clearly meant to be a sympathetic villain, made even more evident by all the people that were making art of him and calling him their new favorite character and what not.
I don't have an issue with that but Oda should have made him actually learn a lesson if he wanted us to pity him. Right now it just feels like Egghead destroyed him as a character (or rather Oda's intentions being so vastly different from what's actually happening in the story is destroying Kizaru).
Nothing here debunk what I said.

Bro is vibing on a beach during a genocide that HIS SON is at btw 😂
It does. He told them not to kidnap Shakky, they did just that, and then Kong called him up complaining about Rocks coming to kill the CDs, and Garp just laughed at him.
If not for Roger appearing, Garp was FULLY INTENT on letting Rocks and his goons destroy the Holy Knights there.

Not even a lie unless you think the top brass of the marines didn’t know about a direct order lmao
The order was to find Rogers child who Garp saved not wipe out the entire island of all women and children. What you're using as proof is panel of a solider saying to kill anyone suspsicous which is hyperbole and not Kong saying wipe out everyone there.

Yeah that wasn't even Garp lmfao, that was Sengoku who was the Fleet Admiral at the time and had more authority than Garp and was also equal to him in power. There wasn't much Garp could do to stop Sengoku.

Why do you keep on repeating this lie?
As with real life, the Massacre of the Innocents in One Piece never actually happened.

I don‘t think people stop to think that, if that was the order, how on earth did the visibly pregnant Rouge survive?

Like, don’t get me wrong, there were Marines ordered to go there and do a dreadful, evil thing and murder a woman and child. But they did not go full Buster Call. Sengoku did say they investigated everyone and found nothing. If they were to go on a murder rampage, they would probably have just killed everyone to be safe.

And also I’m not sure why Sengoku is always the one who gets the blame of it anyway.

You seriously think a single marine soldier has the authority to give such an order lmao

:gokulaugh:

I get you like Garp and Sengoku but cmon let’s not try and rewrite history. They were complacent with this
