Honestly, none of the big 3 have some outstanding female characters imo. There are some good ones yeah but nothing too great. Ultimately, it's up to you my dude. Either is fine with me I guess.

lmao, Naruto in itself is not the issue, it has amazing fights worth the title. Chiyo & Sakura vs. Sasori, Lee vs. Kimimaro, Neji vs. Kidomaru, Naruto vs. Gaara, Itachi vs. Sasuke... it's just that this specific one is so mid and filler...

But luckily, the tables have turned!
