Maria is more skilled with her webs. Whilst Sasaki is more stronger and resilient.

In a fight Sasaki would win, unless Maria has a way to hurt him.

Overall in impressiveness, Id give it to Maria. She had Robin on the ropes and decimated her giant form with skills and what not. Sasaki was constantly struggling against Franky.

-Usopp has far greater endurance than Robin
-BM own endurance is trash tier

Usopp can beat her with a tactful setup. Just needs to land a couple well placed attacks. Also BM's traps were set up by her underlings, so that doesn't count as 1v1.

The problem I have with Sasaki in terms of how he fought was that all he did was charge based attacks.

Black Maria may not be as physically strong like Sasaki and her devil fruit imo is lame, but at least she has her own unique fighting style to make up with what she lacks.

I still place Sasaki above Black Maria though.

It’s clear who the WG fears more despite one being a pirate captain in the past. BM puts Sasaki in a garbage can in terms of portrayal.
