You want to know why he did? Because Sanji is a fucking bug to him, and Oda is willing to throw Sanji under the bus anyday of the week over the fucking Terminator Vergo. He wanted Sanji to look like utter garbage, for Vergo to steal his dignity, to humiiate and just treat him like a sack of shit, because Vergo is a guy Oda loves so much he is willing to throw Sanji to the shitter to wank him. That's why he swithced legs twice
I think it's thinking that Vergo humiliated Sanji when he failed to accomplish his mission to eliminate G5 soldiers and Tashigi and then running away from already wounded Sanji (thanks to Caesar Clown and body swap with Nami) whose little fibula bone was also got damaged due to some lucky shot from Vergo which never happened again in the same fight. Imagine failing to overpower his already wounded opponent, who got damaged again due to lucky shot and then run from the fight later without even finishing the G5 soldiers and Tashigi, that should be the biggest humiliation.
In the end Vergo is failure everywhere who accomplished nothing in PH, got tricked by Smoker, lost Law's heart and failed his captain and died in front of his captain Doflamingo after Doflamingo hyped him against Law. Law humiliated Vergo in front of Doflamingo.

You realise that Vergo didnt lift his leg high since Sanji is very short compared to him

Lift his foot a bit higher and hes got Vergo's pose.
Also we can literally see his leg is coming from his left section
Why did Oda draw his leg coming from his left section...if it was his right leg....
Not only that but his dress shouldnt be raised at the left side if the kick is coming from the right side....
So if the kick did come from the right side.....Oda would draw it like this.

Not high, over his waist and up towards ribcage level. He kicked Sanji at face height lol
Are you incapable of realising that he needs to pivot even more and his whole upper body has rotated to his left in response to the leg lift. HIs fucking whole uppoer body is rotated, which is what I've been telling you, now you even show me a picture of it. Is there something that's not quite right with you??
From our perspective, a low angled right perspective, we see the right thigh, that's what it is, nothing else
The coat WOULD NOT get crumpled at all if he kicked with his left leg lol because the coat would be hanging, not be wrinkld like that. It can't be crumpled like that if he kicked with his left leg. If the dude on the picture you posted had a coat like Vergo it would hang neatly over his left leg extended, the coat would not be folded and with wrinkles like that lol.
The left coatside is crumpled like that because his left stationary leg is slightly bent forward, his body a little arched, the left coatsdie will crumple as a result, and Vergo, again, raises his right leg in a 90 degree angle up to his rbcage level, so there will be some raising of the left coat edges where it meets the right coat edge, because the right leg is crossed and raised high, it meets the left coatside and raises it a little (as you highlighted lol) all perfectly congruent and perfectly in line with what would be the case if Vergo kicked with his right leg
He didn't bother with Sanji, as just a poor kick from him was able of breaking his leg bone in fucking half almost.
Oda wanted to show Vergo as heavily superior to Sanji without fucking crippling him. Would you rathe Oda fucking criopple Sanji to make a point or you prefer Vergo holding back so as to not prematurely end Sanji's puppy life?
Vergo = terminator inspired and Boyka inspired, greatest fighter in the world. Oda wanks Vergo hard, I have shown this, so Sanji was a sacrifice and hype tool for Vergo. Oda didnt want Vergo to kill Sanji ;)
