He has 2 Devil Fruits and not just some random fruits. The strongest paramecia and logia. He also probably has acoc. If he now gets an op zoan.. Idk how imu could possibly be a scarier opponent for luffy than Blackbeard.

His logia also counters luffys df. So luffy will actually have a pretty hard time against Blackbeard.

Imu's DF probably gave 5 gorosei their mythical zoan like abilities and probably even all 5 gorosei combined are not match for Imu.

Imu probably can be 10 mythical zoan DFs strong depending on how broken oda will make him.

BB does have a chance though.

Blackbeard seems to be the more powerful opponent. Darkness is a fundamental thing. The ability to destroy all things and the ability to return all things to nothing. Imu would need something extraordinary to compare with it.

At this point, though, the story is so bizarre too that people doing Godlike things is normal. Rob Lucci pointed out that "God's are beyond logic." I'd imagine this implies Imu can bend the rules a bit. It's also implied that he didn't take down Joyboy by himself, too, so he may not be as special as some may think he is.

Two things about Imu bother me
1) he didn't know how to make the technology required to use the Ancient Weapon he has implying he doesn't know how to make the Ancient Weapon itself - he stole it - and this limits his technological prowess. He's archaic in nature.
2) we know he colluded with the Great Alliance to kill Joyboy implying that he had help from the original kings who formed the World Government. It's possible that without assistance, he never would've won on his own.

Even when Imu and Dragon has underlings in these panels same as Teach has underling Aokiji, Imu or Dragon are still in smaller panel while 4 Emperors are in bigger panels.
