Borsalino's opponent from the Strawhat crew is Zoro not Sanji. There are a few reasons to expect this to be the case:
  • Borsalino used a sword in his only serious fight against another top tier
    • He has a named techniques for creating said sword "Ame no Murakamo".
    • Said sword is one of Japan's sacred imperial regalia
    • He is proficient enough as a swordsman to completely stalemate a top tier "pure swordsman" like Rayleigh
  • He's repeatedly been paired in battle against the second strongest fighters of a pirate crew
    • With Rayleigh at Sabaody Archipelago
    • With Marco at Marineford
    • With Benn Beckman at Marineford
  • Borsalino has unresolved conflict with Zoro
    • He easily defeated him at Sabaody Archipelago
    • He commented that Zoro must have already been weakened to go down so quickly
    • A future confrontation would resolve this.
  • Borsalino and Zoro seem to occupy similar positions.
    • Borsalino is Sakazuki's strongest subordinate
    • Zoro is Luffy's strongest subordinate

As far as I can tell, the main reason to expect Sanji to be Borsalino's opponent is out of some mistaken belief that Borsalino specialise in kicks/has a kick based fighting style. However, this is a gross misunderstanding of his actual fighting style. Borsalino has literally only ever used his kicks to troll characters that were fodder to him:
  • The Supernova at Sabaody Archipelago
  • Luffy at Marineford

Someone might counter that Issho is Zoro's Admiral opponent, but this looks unlikely given that:
  • Issho has a more fleshed out conflict with Luffy
  • Issho appears to be a Luffy fan
  • Issho may not remain a soldier for the World Government at the final war

It highly likely that Zoro isnt fighting any admirals at all, especially Kizaru who's specialty is ranged beams more than using a blade lol

Kizaru is not beating Zoro in swordsmanship

I addressed this:
Borsalino used a sword in his only serious fight against another top tier
  • He has a named techniques for creating said sword "Ame no Murakamo".
  • Said sword is one of Japan's sacred imperial regalia
  • He is proficient enough as a swordsman to completely stalemate a top tier "pure swordsman" like Rayleigh
It's not that clear that firing ranged beams is Borsalino's specialty or main fighting style. In his one serious confrontation, he used Ame no Murakamo.

Would you claim that King is not a swordsman?

I don't know tbh, but Borsalino doesn't seem like a guy to lose in a fight. Like he'll get in clashes here and there with someone but I'm not seeing him being defeated, it just doesn't click with me. Like it's not because he's so strong that he won't ever be defeated but it's more like his personality doesn't seem like one means to lose to me.

Kizaru is all about speed.

He used sword against Ray only bcs Ray used sword against him

Kizaru didnt use his sword AT ALL during marineford.

He relies on leg kicks as we have seen in his fight against Supernovas and Marineford.

In order to beat Kizaru one must be fucking fast AF and have a really good CoO.

Now which SH falls under that category?
Sanji

Zoro is taking on Fujitora bcs what comes next after cutting diamond?

Makes perfect sense to me.

Zoro will fight Borsalino and improve his Observation Haki.

Sanji will fight Greenbull (likely a zoan) and improve his Armament Haki.

Luffy will fight Sakazuki and improve either his Conqueror's Haki or awaken his devil fruit.

Issho is more likely to fight Luffy at some point.

Usual nonsense from you.

Why didn't akainu make a magma bisento to fight wb who had one ?

The Supernova were fodder for him
In marineford he had no real fight

The most he was pushed he used a light sword and matched a legendary swordsman.

So kizaru trolled WB?
Having a named sword doesn't mean he i swordsman or is gonna be Zoro opponent t

Kizaru can be either...coz he isn't a one trick fighter
His best attacks are when he snipes anyway

Nah, I think it will be Kizaru vs Sanji & Someone Else. Or even outright Kizaru & Greenbull vs Jinbei, Sanji, Yamato, Franky, Robin, Brook, Chopper, Nami, and Usopp.

With the gap between the World's Strongest Duo (Luffy & Zoro) and the new Monster Trio (Jinbei, Sanji, and Yamato), only Luffy and Zoro will solo an admiral individually. The rest will need help to defeat any top tier at all.

I don't have enough info on "Green Bull" to make assumptions.
I also don't view Kizaru as a "swordsman" just because he uses it once. Especially because he doesn't use a real sword. He only creates one made of light. I would be SEVERELY disappointed if Kizaru spends most of the fight simply using a generic light saber, especially when he has a lot of cool moves that are shooting projectiles.
I also don't think Zoro's opponent should be based on "does this person uses a sword? if yes, then it's zoro's fight". Mr1 didnt use a sword, the Cat brothers from Kuro's crew, Morgan. Ohm was basically a "gimmick", not a real sword fight. Pika pulled a sword out of his ass but was also irrelevant for his main fighting style, which consisted in using his DF to merge with stones. So far, the only "mandatory zoro fights because swordsmen", at least for me, are Shiryu and Mihawk.
If the reason Zoro fights Kizaru is purely because Kizaru is the immediate strongest Admiral, only below Akainu, then I can see it being a better reasoning than the "light sword" thing.
