With Kizaru Luffy run out of Haki needed for G5 just like he does constantly with G4 .

With Kaido case Luffy body was giving up, reaching its limit because of all previous damage he took , Luffy literally complained he was already dying before it , and Momo says his voice is fading , voice fading happens when you are about to die not when you run out of Haki.

Whether it's for plot reason or not doesn't matter, he couldn't recover by himself in Egghead therefore he is weaker than what he was in Wano.

Luffy eat the food then fly back up to fight kaido in chapter 1025.
He then get kill in chapter 1042 and during that time he was fighting Kaido in and out of base and G2, G3 ,G4 always using haki which we know tired him out also.

The G4 fight? Yeah it was literally one chapter beyond that they were just casually trading blows in base which if Luffy is gassing out from being in base at the same speed Zoro gases out form Enma draining haki then Luffys endurance is all kinds of ass

Agree but it most likely be less nerf so hopefully it won't be as bad as egghead .
We also have he can do G4 moves in base so we might not have to see the time limit on G4 again .

Saturn with a hax never use again , luffy can make island size fist barrier but did not try it vs topman , you know elders get nerf .
The Kizaru vs luffy fight was not even fight and etc etc etc

If he could do that in egghead… why was he instead begging people to get him food instead of turning into G5 to get it himself?

He couldn't do it there because it'd spoil Saturn's introduction. The whole point was that Oda wanted Kuma to be the one to get the first hit in on Saturn.

It wouldn’t have cause than Kizaru would’ve just stood back up and stopped Luffy and Kuma would punch Saturn regardless.

Only reason Kizaru said that was because Luffy was down and he didn’t have to do anything at this moment.

Strongest Luffy till now is Onigashima Luffy with advCoC + base lvl/G2/G3/ G4 till fighting to death and then few minutes later got selve revive and turn into G5 that could restart it's time duration again by beating it's heartbeat.
It's like fighting a top tier + another stronger top tier in a row.
Ofc we won't have such thick plot boost Luffy anymore as he is unbeatable to anyone

So now we always got Luffy that straight up go G5 to fight even high tiers and some animals pets and then lose stamina to extend the plot ....... blame Oda.
