It’s literally not. Naruto is not the strongest. Ichigo is not the strongest. Goku is not the strongest. I could go on. But these are the shows closest to One Piece, none of them i clude the mc being the number one.

Whenever Goku defeated an opponent, he always magically jumped to being way stronger than them, no matter what the struggles he had during their fight. Because the series ended after that it couldn't be showcased, but since that was the case throughout the whole series, then it's easy to infer it was the same after the Buu fight.

To become King of the Pirates means to go to Raftel and find the treasure, that's what PK means.
For Roger it also meant sailing all oceans and exploring all islands, that isnt applying to Luffy.
I never said it doesnt require strength, I said it absolutely doesnt require being the strongest.
Only the 3 World's Strongest titles require you to be strongest and Luffy isnt after either of them.

No, there is no usurping the King for his throne because there is no throne to be taken.
Nor is there physical crown to be stolen, whoever wants the title has business with Raftel, not with Luffy.
Nothing happens when you achieve the highest Pirate title, we literally saw it with Roger.
