Yes he could.

there is a reason why Kaido was so excited about Luffy and that he has some tears cause the fight is finished (from his point of view). At the same time he seems to doesn’t think about Zoro in any way anymore. He got excited by Luffy that much. Says all here.
That isn't much of an argument given that Luffy ended up getting defeated by something not on the same level as Hakai.

In the end, Zoro's attack is only one which left lasting damage. Zoro's barrier haki is also superior given how it could momentarily hold Hakai.

Luffy won't be able to block the attack. His barrier haki + defense is quite inferior to Zoro's
Unless someone can show where Luffy has been able to block an attack from Kaido with just his barrier haki let alone a combined attack from 2 Yonkou.
Let's not start leeching feats for other characters. There's a reason Oda chose Zoro to stop the attack and not the rest

He can definitely block it (Kidd could also do it) for a couple of seconds but the result would be the same as Zoro, Zoro just had to sacrifice himself cuz he's not the main character and Luffy have to defeat Kaido.....
Block it with what?

It doesn't matter if you can only damage your opponent with your strongest move and get defeated easily afterward, if Zoro was that strong he would have a fleshed out battle with kaido.
Luffy wouldn't have fleshed out with Kaido if he didn't survive Hakai which was thanks to Zoro. Not to forget the other times he was KO'd and ran out of G4 where Zoro needed to carry him.

Zoro doesn't have fleshed out with Kaido atm because he survived an attack which would neg the other 4 SN

No, Luffy can't. Even though the current Luffy has figured out how to properly use flowing/barrier haki that doesn't mean he will be able to use it on Zoro's level defensively to protect others.

Enma has force Zoro to learn to control large amounts of haki.

Kaidou still puts Luffy above Zoro... that much is telling.
I've been thinking about this for a minute trying to figure out what Oda is doing. We all know that Kaido is waiting for a monster samurai to fight. Based on Zoro's feats, which includes but are not limited to blocking hakai and scarring Kaido with a Asura mode attack, why haven't he given Zoro the recognition that he deserve. I finally realized it's because he doesn't know Zoro's ambitions like he does Luffy.

Kaido knows Luffy wants to be Pirate King and it's because of that he gives Luffy a lot of respect and places him on a high level. Especially after Luffy learned how to injury him and use CoC in his attacks. That's part of reason he's currently disappointed in Luffy.

With Zoro, Kaido does not know his ambitions. At this time, Kaido considers Zoro just one of Luffy's subordinates and that's the reason he doesn't acknowledge Zoro strength or compare him to Oden when he scarred him. If he would have known that Zoro wants to be the WSS he would put him on the same level as Luffy.

This reminds me a lot of when the Straw Hats faced Kuma. Kuma didn't see Zoro as having equal value as Luffy until he learned Zoro wants to be the WSS.

You need to ask? He used future sight and tried to instantly escape. He never even considered the possibility of tanking Hakai.
Zoro without Future Sight(I guess because he said some words before it) instantly puts himself in position of tanking it. His explanation about why he was doing that is clearly Oda stating Zoro's leadership quality and haters still say that he is not vice-captain.
Oda draw everything to explain Zoro is not only the vice-captain but also the strongest Supernovas(therefore StrawHat) and haters still thinks Luffy is the strongest.

Depends if hakai used any haki, there was no visual confirmation of it, but If not then rubber Luffy will be fine.
I can understand that there wasn't any confirmation. But keep in mind that haki is invisible. And they are Yonkos in a top tier fight(not extreme fight that would be them against Roger, Garp etc) for sure they used Haki. But even without haki Luffy is not taking because of rubber, BM used a sword remember?

He would do better than zoro on every aspect.
You mean take full hit without block leaving all others Supernovas receive the attack with him then getting knocked out and after sometime wake up if a new power up for chapters laters get knocked out again?

It was a large blast, not a sharp attack. Luffy takes explosions rather well better than most humans partially because of his fruit.
