Willing to die for your ambitions means you should have COC? So every soldier who fights in a war should have it? Actually, shouldn't every strawhat have it, since they were all willing to go to the sky islands, which had a high chance of dying.
Logically, no one but captains, or other leaders should have it. Not Zoro/Sanji/Gaban/Rayleigh/Katakuri/Yamato who have never conquered anything in their entire lives. It's basically like Goten and Trunks getting SSJ

I just think people have wrong way how they read story and through wrong lens . Too biased and hatred over Sanji has closed your view on him just because he has gags and act stupid .
It will be hard pill to swallow once he obtains ACoC by EOS . Sometimes people throwaway ambition to protect someone you love , we know Katakuri lacks Kingly ambition yet his love for his sibling was biggest part of his character .
I think Conquerors is also connected to Love as well in some way this is how Luffy was discovered he had Coax when he went to rescue Ace I might be wrong theortically but I always go back to Katakuri’s example you don’t need ambition to attain CoC.

Well, being a CoC holder doesn't mean one has necessarily to be unrealistic.
We have seen plenty of CoC users that "denyed" their ambition in some way. BB - which Is not confirmed, ok - even let the "destiny" decide: he was going to throw away everything if had never found the fruit.
Also, one could argue that during the trip Sanji simply grow stronger and more secure and became "worthy" of CoC, which would be good in my opinion.
