Did Luffy lose to an admiral?:gokulaugh:

Lunch needed to be protected and given lunch by his opponent (admiral) to keep fighting.

Luffy lost.

Which ones?
:memehm:
These?

Or this one?

So you find panels of a character who stated he won't use a lot of power against weaker opponents not using a lot of power against weaker opponents and compare it to characters who are trying their hardest to destroy evil pirates?
:milaugh:

That's not a good comparison. You're comparing a character barely trying to characters going all out. It's fine, it's not like Mihawk was ever overpowered, injured or even hit by YC level characters.
:zosmug:

This is what Oda thinks about Mihawk's strength compared to admiral's strength.

Mihawk, too strong to face.

Luffy didn't even attempt to attack Mihawk and ran off.

3 admirals at the same time, not to strong to face.

Luffy didn't hesitate to attack 3 admirals at the same time.

Aren't you tired of posting that panel every day. The gattling stamp was just a distraction.

His first priority is saving ace. He understands that defeating Mihawk would have taken some time.
Can't just knock him out in one hit like the other fodder.

Mihawk has no problem one shotting weaker people but Jozu, Crocodile, Vista, Luffy and the like he seems to choke.

There is nothing to like about Mihawk, he's a title with no feats, no portrayal, and no swagger.
You stan him because your affection for Zoro clouds your vision of the entire narritive.

Your subconcious logic goes a little something like this;
l like zoro -> Zoro has to defeat Mihawk -> Mihawk needs to be the strongest of all time & space - > Zoro becomes master of the universe.

Why, are manga facts too much for you to handle?
:pepecopium:

Luffy's goal was to save Ace, not fight admirals. When he ran into Mihawk he stated Mihawk was too strong to fight, but didn't say that about 3 admirals. That was Oda sending a clear message to readers what he thinks about Mihawk's strength compared to admiral. I know, some people don't like it because it goes against their agenda.

Did you just compare YC and Luffy to fodder?
:crazwhat:

Where did Mihawk choke? Mihawk was introduced as the character who won't use a lot of power against weaker opponents and that's exactly what we saw.

The problem comes from people who believe top tiers can easily oneshot a YC with a basic low end nameless, hakiless, DF less attack. YC don't go down that easily. Even though we have never seen a YC defeated by a top tier with that type of attack, people hate on Mihawk for failing to do what other top tiers can't do. Make it make sense.

Against Luffy, Mihawk wasn't trying to defeat him. He toyed with him the entire time. His first attack barely cut Lyffy and he bragged about Luffy still being in his range with his eyes closed.

Just because you don't like Mihawk doesn't means I'm not supposed to. Your fanbase spends more time taking Mihawk than their favorite character. Talk about obsession of a character.

Mihawk has feats, hype and portrayal but they are ignored or down played because of people hatred for him. Your post is a perfect example.

People hate on Mihawk because of his connection to Zoro. It's the Zoro hatred effect and we see it all the time. Look at the rooftop. People called it fanfiction because they thought Zoro wasn't supposed to be that strong and perform that way.

I defy you to tell me what "fanbase" I belong to. I'm a fan of One Piece.

Luffy's goal was Ace, not fighting Mihawk. The man literally says he doesn't have time. Lol.

I'm not sure what you're talking about with the rooftop thing. Who are these people?

Everyone who pushed the anti-Mihawk agenda instead of accepting manga facts is part of that fanbase.

I know Luffy was there to rescue Ace not Mihawk. Just like he wasn't there to fight the admirals but here's the thing. When Luffy encountered Mihawk he said he was too powerful, ran from him, and never attacked Mihawk. Yet, he didn't say or do that against 3 admirals. Those scenes give Mihawk hype and makes it clear what Oda thinks about Mihawk's strength. You choosing to ignore that doesn't make it go away.
