It makes perfect sense. If I don't abstain there are 7 alive which means scum only need 1 extra vote. If there are 8 alive, they need 2.

The protection example doesn't work because it would be reported as a failed kill, given that there isn't one I have to have abstained (you could maybe argue that I crossfired with Mafia).

Me being scum isn't the issue here, I've admitted to that, I'm saying that if you lynch me the game is over because Mafia will win tonight.

It's not about not agreeing, you *have* to lynch mafia today. No lynch or a Ratchet lynch ends the game.

It's almost certainly 3 mafia. It's a classic setup that we used to play numbers wise - 3 mafia, 1 serial, 9 town. The expectation is that scum lose a kill somewhere which gives the town three lynches to work with.

Yes. Ratchet learned from Dante and his game (also 13 players) was 3/1/9, too.

Dante views town vigs misfiring as playing against their wincon, the game is not going ti be designed around the assumption that they misfire from a balance perspective, but rather that they never shoot. That way if they shoot correctly it's a reward. That's IF we have a Vig, Yoho is TBC.
